This has been a regular of mine since it first  opened. It's on the Station Road side of the Crossgates Centre and can be easily missed as it is just a doorway inbetween shops with a steep fight of stairs to the restaurant. Once inside though you are always greeted by friendly staff and seated in a waiting area where you can order drinks and choose your meals. I have never been disappointed with my meals here and find the portions to be generous. We often have the starter for two which is like a meal in its self. We like the unpretentious feel to the place and the staff are always helpful and friendly, of course we have been going here for quite some time now so maybe we are just known ^_^ We prefer to go early in the evening and through the week it is quiet and relaxing. The prices are very good for the amount that you receive. Of course I am going to recommend this place because I have never been let down.

If you want everything to be state of the art don’t bother. The food is decent, well priced and service impeccable. Not modern and not complicated, but a Cross Gates institution and worth your money.

Always amazing food and service.  They make you feel like part of the family.  Our kids aged 12,13 and 18 adore this restaurant.  We have been visiting for over 15 years and still in our top 5.

Good quality food, excellent prices and very friendly and helpful staff who made us feel more than welcome! Very authentic dining experience, not to be missed!

Been coming to the restaurant and getting deliverys for 15 yrs. Never once had a problem. Always great food, always great service and always friendly. Thanks guys for always been on top form.

I have eaten here several times. The food is excellent and the service is very professional. The only reason I haven't awarded 5 Stars is because the restaurant is up some very steep stairs.

I use to love this place when I lived local 10 years ago .. But want last night  and was very disapointed the masala I ordere extra hot wasn't spicy and lacked flavour and look identical to my friends chicken curry . And on finshing the last popodum there was a few red marks on the kitchen roll they had been served on . Was told it was red pen ink . I'm gutted as I was so excited to be returnin to this place but sadly I won't return

This is a family  run business that  my family has been  going to  for the last 25 years  and I love it try for yourself.

First time I have ever been here were last night and tbh the last. Soon As we walked in we were asked what we wanted to drink we got coke which  was out of a bottle and also flat popadoms were not fresh. garlic nan was shop bought blathered In garlic butter if you are thinking of going here think again I only went there because my usual Jinnah on York road was fully booked. Currys have no kick to them at all just unpleasant food tbh.
