Great carvery menu. Superb vegetable choices. Very friendly staff. So thrilled with first visit, used it for meal on our return visit. I can recommend the home cooked bread and butter pudding! Just like mum used to make.
Nice country pub next to canal which serves up Sunday carvery and has been extended at the back. Food very good although plates are a bit on the small side. Range of drinks and a small selection of ales are on offer. Can get very warm inside which isn’t conducive to eating a meal so would recommend air conditioning is installed.
The staff here are extremely welcoming and friendly. Just had take away Turkey and Beef Yorkshire Pudding Wraps. Both were delicious and very filling indeed. Definitely worth a return visit. We will be back.
Great pub, loads of parking for boats and cars. Great service very friendly, good COVID19 measures. Only problem would be the slimmed down menu not a massive amount of choice.
Cosy pub, friendly staff, huge portions of wholesome food, good value, plenty of car parking, great view over canal from extension, pleasant walks from pub along canal and around nearby Hanbury Hall estate. Would happily eat here again.
Best carvery. Lovely surroundings and so value for money. Very tasty home cooked food. Will definitely go back next time we are in the area. Thankyou.
If you need a carvery this is the place, al carte also offered but the carvery is to good to miss
