E C Josephs were commissioned to do a large extension to our home in Hereford over the last 18 months. This included building, roofing, stonework, bricklaying, kitchen fitting, installation of 4 bathrooms including one wetroom, two patios, plastering, complete heating and electrical installation and installation of a home lift. They have a team of some very skilled and professional workers who carry out their work to a very high standard and in a thoughtful way working around family life and young children. They ensured the site was tidied everyday and things were explained and managed well when I decided to change things as the project developed. Their pricing is fair and reasonable particularly given the high standard of work. I cannot recommend this company more highly.
Brilliant experience from start to finish. Work finished to a high standard in the timeframe agreed. Andy ,Nick and Chad’s work was excellent and they were professional,friendly , considerate and kept the work site so tidy it did not impact on us whilst living in the house.We really appreciated that the day after the work was completed they called back to check that everything was to our satisfaction. We will definitely ask the company to do further works for us .
Nick at E C Jospeh repaired and painted the front of my house over 4 days. He did a fantastic job and not a bit of mess left behind. I will definitely be calling on them again in the near future.
Just completed a garage to house integration in Ledbury involving internal wall removal, floor raising and concrete levelling, new steel supports, wall lining and insulation to high accuracy old walls not that straight , plus plumbing alterations and then supply and fitting of windows and door. Their painting and plastering was also to a good standard. Well planned and coordinated along with another contractor we already used for kitchen/bathroom work. Started on time and completed on schedule. Good natured team, easy to have around for three months. Would use again definitely. Five star !!
So we bought a house rather quickly and when we got the keys we realised that a lot more work was needed than initially anticipated. We contacted EC Joseph initially just to take a wall down between kitchen and diner and little did we both know, that within the following short 12 weeks - EC Joseph pulled out all the stops to help us complete a full renovation of the house! They knew our need to move quickly and were very understanding and accommodating, fitting us in around their already busy schedules. So what was just a wall, then grew to installing radiators/ replumbing pipework/plastering of walls/fitting of skirting boards and architrave etc. They successfully installed a new/larger loft hatch with ladder as well. The talented Luke also installed our Wren kitchen with great expertise and precision. To the point where the Wren templater for the Quartz worktop even commented how well the kitchen was fitted! We would absolutely recommend EC Joseph, mentioning notably Nick, Luke and Andrew for their services and the others who assisted along the way!. They offer a quality, reliable and professional service and we will most definitely use them in the future.
Andrew came out to quote on some work that I had been advised by another builder needed completing on my roof. Andrew responded to my contact through the website promptly and accommodated the appointment time I requested. He was an honest and genuine man and after an inspection of the roof, advised that it was sound and that no work was required! I would definitely recommend EC Joseph and Sons Builders and would certainly consider using them in the future. Many thanks.
This website was useful in that it contained all that I needed to decide whether to use E C Joseph and Sons to take on all the building/maintenance on our property in Hereford, or not. It gave us the confidence of knowing that we were in reliable, experienced hands. All that the website informed us about has proved to be accurate and true . We are delighted with the service we are receiving having used the website.
Well could they of been anymore dismissive! Will keep looking for someone else It’s a shame as the reviews looked so good!
We are really happy with the garage conversion by E C Joseph. Completed to a very high standard and everyone involved was really professional, polite and friendly. They were happy to answer any questions we had and accommodate any last minute changes. We'd definitely use them again in the future.
