Very unprofessional, rude, grumpy examiners. I had Cliff and Nigel. Both was only looking for any reasons to fail me, and I wouldn't mind it so much if only they could try to be positive, polite and friendly. They behaved like they hated the job they were doing. Shame on you guys. I wish they could get some customer service training. I am going to try again in a different test centre now.
When I changed my driving licence to a UK one, I lost my C, C1, C+E and D categories. I drove about 500,000 kilometres all over Europe from Poland to France and from Sweden to Spain. And this guy, I mean the DVSA examiner, who had never left Nottingham, easily failed my test and said I wasn't holding the steering wheel correctly. Too bad
I had a very good experience in my practical driving test. My examiner Graham was polite and made me feel comfortable even when I was actively anxious inside. The small talks helped to calm my nerves and guess what? I passed on my 3rd attempt. I highly recommend Watnall test centre. They are professional and kind all in one.
I passed here a couple of weeks ago and it has been bugging me since about how negative an experience everything was. The examner Jazz or Jazzy was late out and didn't even say hello. He was impatient and rude, and when I said sorry for doing my signature again at the start and said I was a bit nervous he said well so is everyone else who comes here. Even if that's true saying it that way doesn't help calm anyone down. He was coughing a lot and not even covering his mouth. One time a bit of spittle landed on my gearstick and it made me want to puke. He was fidgeting all the time and kept checking his watch. When he marked faults it was almost like he was trying to be dramatic and draw attention to the fact. All four times. To help calm myself I tried to make small talk when the roads went quite but he would either ignore me or tell me to consentrate. When I passed there was no telling me he was happy to say I passed or well done or congratulations just you passed, give me your licence. I did not get told my faults or any feedback. He spelled my name wrong on the paper certificate but didn't correct it neatly just scrawled heavier over so it looks a mess forever. When I said thank you and wished him nice day he just sighed and coughed then got out and walked off leaving my car door wide open in bad rain. After the test I talked to another man who did his test same time to see how they did, and mentioned how horrible my examiner had been. His instructor laughed and said that's the manager. I still don't know if I believe him because I don't know how a person that rude and unpleasant and unhygeinic could get hired as a manager.
I would give 0 stars if I could.nnTry to avoid this Test Centre if you can. The staff at Chilwell are more calm and friendly towards the candidates.nnI’ve had 2 tests here. One which I admit I failed, but the examiner Steve had a really negative vibe and was speaking to me at the end like I had done something to him.nnI tried to start up a friendly conversation during the test and he would just straight up ignore me.nnMy second test today, I 100% believe I passed. The examiner was Trevor who also had a negative vibe and obviously knew that it was his word over mine so he took advantage of it.nnHe would over exaggerate when I was braking and purposely lean forwards as if I was braking too suddenly.nnIf you can avoid this test centre please do, it’s a waste of time, money & effort.
