Great place for home goods of all descriptions, that's all great but the service at the till is another matter that needs addressing, staff continue to stand behind the counter chatting while a large que forms trying to pay and get on with their lives. On several times I have walked out and bought elsewhere. If this could be addressed it would be a great shop.
Better stocked than the Rustington branch but beware; they offer an online receipt if you give your email address. I tried this but the staff member didn't get my email address right and I never got the receipt. I returned to the shop to get a real one and had to wait an age so, get the real one to start with and save yourself some grief.
I love this shop. The perfect place for a wander round on a miserable day. There is such a huge variety in linens, curtains and cushions that you are bound to find something you like or need. Kitchenware, rugs, cloth by the metre and all sorts of very tasteful ornaments make this an Aladdins cave that I am constantly returning to. Nice little coffee shop upstairs. There is a nice clen toilet here- upstairs back. Plenty of parking....but one BIG problem here for the disabled..... The trolley park is at the bottom of a short steep slope up to the door. It is almost impossible for me to get a trolley out and turn it round and up the slope. Bad planning with no thought as to how a disabled person could manage what an able person can!!!
I went here to look at their sale, and it's quite reasonable prices and easy to find. Always lots of staff around to help you. Good parking and easy access to shop
Served its purpose but not a particularly uplifting experience. Definitely a case of 'needs must...' Not helped by a sales team member pointing me in the opposite direction of where my item was actually housed!
A consistently good homewares shop selling bedding, lamps and other homewares. I bought pillows and quilt covers and I'm very impressed with the quality. I've also bought a couple of LED ceiling lamps. If you've never seen or used these, they're very bright and can usually be used with a dimmer.
Excellent shop with wide range of items. Always clean and tidy shop. Nice cafe inside and very clean toilet facilities.
I had a very irritating experience in their cafe. Their was a lad on the till who was very personable and trying very hard, but it was obvious he was new and a bit out of depth during their busy time. He seemed to be getting treated rather badly by the two more senior women there. One was ordering him about in quite a nasty way, never a please or a thank you and doing it all very publicly. She even said once, pointing at customers: "make sure THEY wait for their drinks." Everyone could hear and if I was that customer I would be upset. The other woman was audibly huffing whenever she had to do anything, like serving someone or clearing a table. And on the subject of clearing tables: there was rubbish on almost every table and when a customer was served it seemed to be beyond anyone to clear a table or two on their way back. Overall felt sorry for the new lad who even if he wasn't great at his job, was clearly trying his best and that's all you can ask of someone, and it wasn't pleasant witnessing what was going on. The two ladies working their had bad attitudes both to him and the customers.
Well stocked, go to place for almost everything. Friendly and helpful staff. The queues for paying are a bit irritating and needs improving but all else great.
Well-organized floor. Excellent quality merchandise at reasonable prices. Helpful, friendly staff.
