I went into the Worthing store today in search of a toaster the young man that helped me chose the toaster was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I left very happy with the toaster I brought and shall definitely be using this store again.
I do like this shop for those odd household bits you might need, or not need but think you might when you see them :- helpful cheerful staff, mostly well laid out but can be a bit tight with a wheeler or wheelchair in places
Do not use Robert Dyas. We bought a table top oven from them that broke within months and despite lots of email correspondence and complaints they still have not picked it up and refunded us our money. Really disappointing.
Good hardware store with a varied selection. With the demise of bunces this is the only hardware store in worthing with a personal touch. Slightly more expensive than DIY shops, but at least they make you feel human.
I went to Robert Dyas to use their DHL service, as i greeted the male staff "good morning! Sending through DHL please" his response was "Really?!" As we approach the computer he said "I hate doing this". At first I thought, yeah it's still pretty early in the morning, but bear in mind i have just finished 3 night shifts So then we continued with the registering on the computer, then their website crashed and then he said "this is why i hate doing this!". For a customer's point of view, would this be a good impression/experience to a customer using your services?
Great service and friendly staff! Needed some help choosing an electrical item and the staff member who helped me was really helpful and knowledgeable.
