"Great food, friendly service & first-rate beer. That's the simple, winning formula that makes The Duke of Kent one of the best pubs in Ealing. The Duke is the very antithesis of a charmless modern bar"

From the initial welcome to a friendly chat as we left this local pub, I was impressed. Although the food was slightly expensive, the choice and quality qs definitely worth it. Two types of lovely curry and a pie with great pastry started the meal. The puddings were not of quite the same high standard but adequate. Can't fault the staff in this establishment. Well worth a visit.
Absolutely amazing pub for a sunny day. Huge beer garden, delicious food, good selection of beers and friendly staff. I wish I lived closer. The best fish and chips I've tried in years since moving to London!
Lovely big, old-fashioned, proper pub, with a great selection of beer, drinks and wine. Mostly friendly staff and decent service ordering at the bar. Will definitely return to have a drink, but absolutely not for food, certainly not for the Duke of Kent, Ealing’s Sunday Roast! We ordered one dry-aged sirloin of beef and a roast loin of south coast pork, both served with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, seasonal veg, a red wine gravy and a shared cauliflower cheese. The beef was tough, chewy and completely lacking in flavour, the pork bland and also flavourless, the potatoes undercooked, the veg unremarkable. Basically, the entire meal was entirely underwhelming, and, if I dare mention, was cooked with zero love or care! Again, would/will revisit for a drink, but won’t eat here!
All of the tables in the beer garden had food and drinks left behind with little effort to clear it up. Service was slow and it is now massively overpriced.
Simply the best pub in Ealing town. So beautiful, lovely ambience, courteous and friendly services, good large collection of liquor, and last but not the least, it has events going on through out the week, like quiz nights. Must go and experience it . Nice place to chill and unwind
This pub almost feels like it's in the country when you first walk in and feel the relaxed, family friendly atmosphere. There are lots of nooks and crannies with plenty of comfortable seating arrangements, a plethora of beers and wines, as well as some great pub food. In the summer there is also a great outdoor bar and bbq in their fantastic beer garden, well worth a visit any time of the year.
We booked the Kent Room to celebrate the life of my late fathers passing. The staff were helpful throughout the process. The food and drink was very nice. The day went very well! A big thank you to all the staff. Certainly would recommend.
We came recently and the pub is absolutely stunning, we ordered the fish and chips which was absolutely beautiful and would definitely recommend, I had the delight of meeting a lovely lady who worked there named Samantha who really welcomed us and was very attentive and made our visit a really enjoyable one. Definitely coming back again!
Great family place with lovely food. I always go for the potato gnocchi being a vegetarian but there are a few options for veggies. There is a lovely outside area for a sunny day where kids can run around. Great service from management too
Lovely building if you appreciate architecture. Decent staff, buzzing a good selection of whiskey, rum, etc, and food is served here also. Cosy place in the winter and excellent in the summer. It's worth checking out.
