The restaurant is basic in layout but packed with lots of charm and amazing quality food. The pancakes are large and there's plenty of choice in savoury or sweet varieties. But don't be deceived by the size, one person can quite happily have it all as they're light as a feather.
Very friendly and fast service. Great atmosphere. Went for Sunday brunch today. Pancakes are really tasty, big portion. the cheese as potato balls were amazing. Definitely coming back
We came here one day back in July bang on opening hours. We were the only table in and we seemed to taken ages to serve. The milkshakes were good but the pancakes in my opinion came on way too big of a plate pizza plates and therefor looked like they had very little fillings on them for the money. My advice is served them folded or swirled or something there for the fillings wont make us feel so ripped off. I ordered the bacon, maple syrup and apple one. I wasn't exactly what I expected. The bacon was soft like it had been boiled or very lightly cooked. When you order bacon pancakes you kind of expect crispy golden brown bacon. Maybe that's just me. The place seemed a bit dirty too, also soooo many menus! Less is more! Was a bit disappointed, I wont be back and it's a shame because I'm a local.
Oreo milkshake was yummy!!wouldnt recommend the Tex Mex savoury pancake, tasted bland.Maple waffle was yummy though!!much better than other waffles in dessert places. the staff were friendly and quick service may be as it was a weekday around 3. Tuesday's the pancakes / waffles are £5 , so price was good too.
The pancakes made me feel sick. My grandad said the staff was so vile he would not recommend this place to anyone. We never write reviews but my grandad forced me to write this one because the service was so so so BAD! the place is Dirty, the menus are sticky and filthy. The plates had filth on them, and i feel sick even thinking about the experience. Looking through the google reviews, it looks like the owners have got their friends to give the place good reviews. LOL!
The rudest man I have ever encountered in a restaurant, me and my girlfriend walked in on pancake day to have pancakes and as we walked in, the man, who looked very unhygienic just to point out, said "go over there" like a man ordering a dog to sit, then I said oh do we have to wait, since I could see half the restaurant empty, it was a very fair question... He said yes, very rudely again, so we left. Will never go there and will never recommend this to anyone. Sickening and very disgusting experience, That is coming from someone who's family runs a successful Spanish bar. Customer service is everything, and Dudleys gets a 0 for that. 0 for hygiene and 0 for the food even though i didn't eat it. It looked like someone had vomited on the plate from a distance. Look for others, don't go here :
Not only do they have a great selection of pancakes/waffles/other sweet treats, but there is also an array of savoury dishes to choose from. I began with nachos and a Ferrero Rocher milkshake, and ended with a gigantic Strawberry pancake. Needless to say I couldn't move for quite a while...
