I have had the most professional and helpful service from DSCL in the last 24 hours. They have gone above and beyond. I spoke to Kyle who helped me so much… I took a disposable camera to my local shop who told me they send it off and I would receive my prints back in 7-10 days. Three weeks on… after poor service from them, I asked for the supplier they use… they told me it was DSCL, so I contacted directly, spoke with Kyle, explained the urgency part of a huge surprise gift!! he chased it up for me and said my product would leave that same day on a 24 tracked service. I’m honestly so grateful the service has been brilliant. Thanks so much for saving the day. I will always use these guys directly now.
Was told to give these people a go. Easy ordering and sent the b&w film off. Best part of two weeks later I rang up to check if they had got my film, yes they had and that my film is in the queue and would be processed the next day. Eventually got my film back and a link to download the scans. To be fair the negs and print were fine no problem there. The scans however weren't good, full of dust spots and even hairs. I waited to post this review because I emailed them about the scans in July and we are now a month later and no reply. Can't recommend and they won't be getting any more of my money will try elsewhere.
Needed images printed for a gift project, as mailboxes was closed despite its hours saying open. Said they cant print documents from email, so spent a painful 15-20 minutes trying to figure out using their self service kiosk with zero help from the staff sitting there. Hard to guage the true sizes from the screen, and ended up paying £32 quid for images that are too big for what I needed. Now I dont have time to go anywhere else to get this done.
Sent in three rolls of film to be developed and scanned. Got them back fairly quickly, and was happy with the quality and price. Didn't get my negatives cut into 6 as requested though!
Top service, top people! Really friendly and trustworthy experience - got some amazing negs and scans back from these guys, super quick too.
Horrible horrible place to get passport pictures printed. Horrible customer service did not want to help me resolve my issue nor help me find an alternative. Went in there to get a passport picture printed from my camera roll and it turns out they don’t want to do that because they want to use their own machine to take the picture. 0 stars
I've recently started using DS after trying to get an old roll of film processed. They're really helpful, friendly and easy to get to if you're Manchester based. They're not the cheapest place but you know their products will be very good quality every time. Sometimes cheaper places will cut corners and not put the care into your photos or prints that DS do. They do all sorts of digital prints, products and camera accessories but also one of few places doing high quality film processing. You can drop off film in person or via post and get prints or scans back fairly quickly. See their website for prices. Thoroughly recommended.
Been going here for years to get my film developed, honestly always the nicest and most helpful people! Got a new film camera and Rowan was so helpful, and took the time to show me everything I needed to know along with getting my film developed and also new batteries! All for such a great price too : photos always come out top quality here, highly recommend
Premium service here. Although the price on the website didn't match the one in store, the guy on duty explained it all to me which made me glad to pay the extra cost. Swift, quality service within 20 minutes, and I got the photos cut for not extra charge.
Prints are good, online software is okay although needs to be updated - my issue is their over charging for postage, which has become slower over the years they’ll blame the Royal Mail no doubt. It’s a bit of a rip off - especially when the pacakaging has reduced in quality over the years and leaves the prints more susceptible to damage during transit. Also, if you need to submit an additional order on the same day because Sod’s law dictates that a client will submit their order just as you’ve clicked ‘buy’ on your print order they’re not that keen on adding the two orders together. Instead they’ll try and get you to pay twice for the postage… which is already grossly overpriced.
