Unfortunately this Castle was closed when we visited this stunning building. It is still worth while to explore the surrounds of the castle. Take your time and see the absolutely stunning, well groomed and designed garden. Walk around to the children playground, where they can have a excellent time playing. Visit the princess's "meditation hut". Quite amazing what you will see. Rest here and absorb the beauty and tranquility of the surrounding. Strongly recommendable.

A truly fantastic experience for kids and adults alike. Beautiful surrounding with loads of activities and a children's adventure playground. Staff always super friendly and the tearoom sells some nice treats for the peckish. You can easily spend an entire day here. Well recommend.

Beautiful castle in a somewhat remote area of Scotland but well worth the trip. You get a guided tour of the castle and can walk the grounds on your own. Grounds take about an hour. There is a very nice tea room for lunch with a fair selection of tea room fare. You'll want to buy the book to remember everything as no photos allowed in the castle.

Absolutely stunning castle and grounds. Fantastic views, well maintained, established gardens. Mountain bikes for hire and a number of graded woodland walks. Great kids area, craft shop and tearooms etc. Dogs thoroughly enjoyed it as did we. Well worth a day out.

This is a beautiful place for walks around the grounds. I haven't been inside the castle itself but could spend hours walking around it. Sad to see the adventure playground isn't free for the kiddies, but mine are all grown up now so this doesn't bother me. Just worth noting for anyone planning a family visit. All in all, a glorious walk.
