Such a fantastic experience for fans of Thomas, regardless if age! We spent 6 hours here, solely in Thomas Land, going on all the different rides, visiting the Thomas exhibition and just generally enjoying the experience. My little boy is 3 and a half and he was just completely in his element. He made it on to 10 rides in total, there was a couple we didn't get on due to big queues, but there's definitely a lot for little ones and you could easily spend a day here no problem. If I was going to be super critical, I would say they could do with two staff per ride, just to speed things along a little. But apart from that, it really is a fantastic day for all the family. I would highly recommend it!
Great day out with the Kids. Loads to do for them. Thomas Land was a hit. The new Vikings area looked fun too, it's a bit small though and the queues were really long even for a weekday. Toilets kept nice and clean, staff very helpful, however shops are a bit pricey, you'd think with the amount you pay for tickets they wouldn't try to rip you off in their shops.
Visited drayton manor mostly Thomas land for 2 days Sunday and Monday. We have 1 and 3 year old boys. We all loved it here. All the children's rides are in close proximity to each other... Good for little legs. My two are huge Thomas fans but you don't need to be to enjoy the park. Friendly staff, good mix of rides, plenty of toilet facilities. Sufficient food and drink options also. We got a good deal with the stay and play accommodation. Very happy and will look to return when we can.
Fabulous time at Thomas Land at Drayton Manor. Our boys loved every minute, not even the rain could spoil it. Wasn't too crowded when we visited so all queues were pretty low therefore getting on rides was quick. Good range and options for different ages. Plenty of food serving areas too. As we were staying over at the Drayton Manor complex we were able to skip the entrance queue as well.
Kids loved the experience and are determined to go back and visit again. Even as parents we had a very enjoyable day, I guess you never fully grow out of Thomas the Tank Engine. Recommended for children of 1.2m and taller.Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes
I'm very disappointed, to be honest. Paid £106 for 3 individuals, including parking, and the experience was quite a letdown. Parking is spacious but gets filled up really quickly. On our day, only 4 rides from the main theme park were working. The rest had a signpost saying, " we are working towards improving your experience." There was nothing mentioned about this on the website. The rides that were functional had crazy queues ahead of them. On the contrary, we did have quite a fun in Thomas Land. All the rides were functional and the queues short. Staff were generally courteous and welcoming. Highlight of the day for me was the zoo, including the birds and creepy Crawley section. They have talking parrots too that keep the kids entertained. Wash rooms were nice and adequate in number. There is a 4D cinema but no shows on the time we visited. Nice little outdoor play area for kids. If you happen to visit this place, I would recommend trying the pizza from the pizza and pasta shop. Good place overall. I would have given it a 5/5 if the rides were operational.
Amazing theme park for the whole family, there are a few bigger rides, but primarily caters for children under 1.2m The food is a little pricey and the drinks wow £3.10 for a bottle of coke! The sweet shops are great, again a little pricey but a huge variety of sweets on offer. Our kids loved every minute of our 2 days. We visited on a bank holiday and the queues were HUGE! The smaller rides were quiet but the big roller coasters had over an hour wait for most of them.
Brought my 15 month old son and he loved it. There was lots of rides that he could go on and we were very lucky to have a quiet day so there was minimal queuing. There is lots of food choices and great stalls to win a teddy. We also loved the zoo and dinosaur park which were a nice walk round.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Great for a day out with younger and older kids.. The staff were really helpful.. During the holidays the queues can be as long as upto an hour to get onto a ride, but still not as long as some of the other major theme parks.. The rides are great and lots of fun.
We had a great time as usual they have really upped their Christmas experience from a few years ago you now get to meet Mrs Claus listen to a story and do a sing along. After that you get to write a Christmas list with an elf and you can post your wish list to the north pole then you have your time with Santa and also children get a toy token adults get a hot chocolate token get a photo they do packages we brought the £25 package which included a download a photo and a snow globe. As soon as we was leaving you then have the toy token stall where the children have a pick at a decent range of toys. Thomas land was open also they had some other rides but nothing opposite Thomas land. Overall we had a great time and would go again at Christmas! But don't forget to book in advance!
