What a great find.Have been in Bournemouth 30+years. And have tried so many different takeaways.Polite staff delivery on time and the food is amazing and constant which is difficult to find thanks so much to all the staff.
I ordered from the wrong Dragon inn and it was too far to drive and it would have taken an hour to get there. I called and told them the mixup and they assured me they would cancel the order and refund my £30. They never did. It has been cleared by the bank and never refunded. They are DISHONEST AND UNTRUSTWORTHY people. The Owner is a disgrace and all the staff are theives, they marked my order as "collected" and kept the money. They must be desperate to STEAL and LIE. Do not trust this establishment as it is run by an ignorant business owner. If they operate the kitchen like they do their till, you will likely get sick.
Do collect if your near by, especially on a Friday as this takeaway is very busy, and for good reason The answer on the phone when ordering is constantly inviting; within a melody "how may I help youuu?" The food on collect is ready within 20 minutes and I highly recommend the salt and pepper prawns, beef noodles and overall, every time I have tried something new, I haven't been disappointed. I live locally, and when I find the courage to take the risk in ordering out, this is my go to without question. I only give a four cos of the wait on delivery, however believe u me, it's worth the wait. Eat well x

This is a great Chinese takeaway. We’ve tried the majority of food over time and the consistency in quality of food is amazing. Only thing is I wish they took card payments. Always good customer service and freshly made.
After using here for every Chinese take out over the years I was looking forward to tonight's treat. Sadly after 10 years I must say I've never had such a disgusting m eal, chewy salty, satay sauce which was a disgusting liquid that was foul. even the prawn crackers were inedible either rock hard or flabby . Go elsewhere
Tried a few Chinese takeaways in the area and this is by far the best. It is also one of the better Chinese takeaways i have been to in England. They do have their off days, like every other takeaway i have been to, where the portions may be smaller than normal or there will be no mushrooms in the beef with oyster sauce but this is few and far between. The food there is varied, really tasty and off decent size. Unlike another chinese takeaway not to far away where i ordered beef in oyster sauce they do not trick you by giving you a full box with very little meat and a hell of a lot of onions. The husband and wife there are also really nice. Recommended.
So last night i bought king prawn fried rice, and I was so disappointed. The rice was not fresh and they didn't even stir fry everything together. Tasteless also, as a chef myself I was disgusted by the food. Wasted my money....
I can see the man at the front desk is under pressure, this means that Dragon Inn is busy and popular obviously bcs their food is fresh and a gud standard, when the man finished on the phone with orders he smiled and apologised, i didn't mind waiting as i was regarded and reespected, that's simply what its all about, i will ofcourse go back, tx again to the team at Dragon Inn, top class
