We’ve been meaning to try Beijing Garden for a while and it didn’t disappoint. Family run restaurant, friendly service and delicious food. We dined as a family of 4 and chose the Beijing set menu and a bottle of Muscadet. Thanks you for a memorable Mother’s Day lunch
We had the Beijing set meal which consists of starters, a duck intermediate course, mains and a dessert or coffee. For £20 it's remarkable value with portions especially starters being absolutely massive. Starters were the highlight for me, seaweed, shredded chicken, sesame prawn toast and delicious honey ribs. I found the duck to be very dry and needed to use lots of hoi sin sauce to make it more palatable. Mains for me needed more flavour, I thought the chicken was bland and the beef in black bean sauce just "meh". The sauce of the kung po chilli prawns was nice but the reformed meat prawns left a lot to be desired. Bear in mind the price point though, masses of food for twenty quid. If you want better ingredients you'd be paying double the price! If I go again I'd definitely try different main dishes.
Ordered a takeaway a month or so and found the food to be very good but has to be weighed against the charges when compared with other Chinese restaurants in the locality.Food: 5/5
A group of cycle club friends met up here for a post-AGM meal yesterday evening. The food was good as was the atmosphere and service. This could well be the setting for more such visits. Thank You.Food: 4/5
Such a nice place for a Chinese meal. Good value especially if you choose the " eat all you can" menu. Eight of us went for a meal and it was such good value including lots of alcohol. The staff were lovely and friendly too
I ordered a take away and i must say its hard to find a good chinese. This really made my Saturday evening will definitely be making this my regular. Everything was packaged so nicely and the food was fresh!
Lovely family run restaurant. Why go to Chinatown when you can have 10x nicer food , at a much more sensible price, run by great friendly people : will definitely be coming back again for the amazing king prawns with black bean sauce, which is just one of their many dishes as part of their all you can eat menuFood: 5/5
Food was superb. Atmosphere so relaxed, thoroughly enjoyed every aspect
Amazing food, lovely atmosphere, great service, highly recommend Food: 5/5
Amazing food as always, the best Chinese take away in Sutton/Cheam, Eating in the restaurant equally as good as the take away, and all you can eat!
