Absolutely appalling delivery service. For 2 days, I have waited in to receive a message that I was not in and a random photograph of somewhere I do not know. The same one both days, on its side. Today, apparently, I have requested a different delivery date. That is not true. I most definitely have not. An unreliable service will be avoided in the future. Evri are more reliable these days.
I should give a negative score if I could.nThis morning DPD delivered a pallet of my goods to a wrong address. I had been waiting for the delivery at the receiving address, then when I got the message that saying it had been delivered, I immediately contacted dpd customer service by phone, which was about 3 minutes later. Customer service told me they would contact the driver to come back and deliver the goods to the correct address. After an hour had passed and the driver had not returned with the goods. I contacted DPD customer service again and was told that the driver was no longer in the area and would not be back to handle my goods until dinner time. The driver left a pallet of my valuable goods in the open area in the middle of nowhere and it was about to rain and told me they were not sure when the driver would be back to take care of my goods. I drove around on my own according to the delivery photos and finally found my goods 500 meters away from the delivery address. In the end I had to pay someone to bring the goods back myself. I then contacted dpd customer service to ask for compensation for the extra handling fee I paid and was refused and told to pass it on to a manager who would contact me, but it never happened! WHAT A TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Avoid this company at any cost.
I can't give zero so, one star is the closest allowed.nnApparently this is my terraced home where I didn't answer the door. Maybe Rajandeep from this depot needs more training to be able to tell the difference between a warehouse and a terraced house.nnI was offered a same day redelivery, until I told them I couldn't answer the telephone due to my disabilities. Apparently that's not availiable if you can't talk to the depot on the phone.nnSeems like disability discrimination to me. It's about time they sorted out some other communication methods, it's 2023 not 1923 and other options are available.
The worst experience ever! Big brand so you expect quality service but you getting typical useless responds. I sended parcel from UK to Germany using DPD Classic up to 4 - 5 working days after 7 days parcel is missing and no one knows what's happened?! I make a claim and I'm still waiting for any professional answer...another 7 days gone so its 14 all together and still investigation in progress I'll never ever use DPD again !!!
Absolutely disgusting experience! Have had multiple deliveries from this depot before as it’s my nearest one, every consecutive time they have failed to deliver. I get a notification on the app saying they couldn’t deliver today, yet there was absolutely no attempt to deliver in the first place. Very disappointed as I had something very important being delivered that I needed today and now I have to wait even longer. Not impressed.
