Really lovely cafe. Friendly and competent staff, fast service. Nice scones with clotted cream. Amazing hot chocolate. Very reasonably priced.
Nice outside area to sit as well as plenty of room inside. Good range of cakes. Roast carvery for meat eaters with a vegetarian option. Decaffeinated coffee is good.
We were travelling back from Cornwall and it was close to closing time. The man there, presumably the owner still had time to make a cream tea, which was lovely. That deserves 5 stars!
