Seated us after making space and adding a chair was nice of them to do. Had tea/scone, coffee and some flapjacks which were very tasty & the tea was amazing. Perhaps a little more friendly from the waitress and it would be 5 stars.
Great local coffee shop with a good selection of loose teas also. Excellent service, always with a smile and very friendly I can see why this is my parents favourite coffee shop!
The quality of the food was awful. My cream tea was a scone that had been microwaved for far to long and was like rubber and tasteless. My husbands breakfast was an overcooked reheated sausage tinned mushrooms and reheated new potatoes just awful. We grudged paying for it. Definitely would not recommend

Good coffee, reasonable service. Try the savoury cream tea if you're after a change
Food cold to table. She replaced it but managed to burn the toast and hide the charred side. My brother, however got a good plate.
