Visited a little before midday on a Sunday in late November. Of note, this place seems to be one of the only maybe the only shops for bubble tea in the area that opens before noon. We got two bubble teas, one fruity and one black tea. Both were tasty. The shop itself is pretty small, just two little tables with seating for about four people, so it’s really more of a grab and go kind of spot. Woman behind the counter was friendly enough. Prices seemed fair. I’d happily return here.
Been wanting to go for a while. Lovely place and lovely staff who were working very hard to get all the orders done. Our bubble teas we tried 3 were very good and we have tried many places. My daughter had a bubble waffle. Next time we are trying the Ma Ling fluffy egg and spam sandwich and the ginger milk tea and the black sesame latte. My bubble milk tea was but my Winter melon bubble tea was absolutely delicious
I stumbled across Dot Dot today while out running errands, and I’m so glad I did! I can never say no to an independent bubble tea shop, and this place is by far one of the cutest I’ve been to. The staff were very kind , and the tea was lovely. I got the Apple Rose Jasmine tea. It’s already a new favorite. I can’t wait to stop in again soon!
I had a bubble tea here back in May, it was pretty ok. Nothing stood out to me that much but the decorations were nice. The workers there were friendly and helpful with answering questions. Overall it was an alright experience and i would come here again if i’m in the area
Simply one of the best bubble waffle shops in London. I think the base bubble waffle is about as close to the ones you can get from street stalls in Hong Kong as yoy will get in the UK. They have innovative sweet and savoury flavours and combos but managed to keep the menu compact allowing them to ensure their products always come out high quality and well presented. The cream puffs with the 'bolo bao' glaze on top are amazing with strong clear flavours and a delicate puff. The bubble teas are not an afterthought either, again with good flavours and good sugar level normal is 50%. The owners and staff are lovely and service is quick and friendly.
This place deserves some recognition! This place honestly is one of the best bubble tea places I know, and definitely one to recommend! This independent bubble tea place is just great, the bubble tea is top notch and so are the bubble waffles, the servers are so kind and canceled my order when I told them I was a vegan, they know what they are doing and they do it with passion. The packaging is super new and they offer many different types of bubble teas, bubble waffles, and cakes in general. My recommendation being a local of the are and a regular customer at dot dot is the classic hong kong brown sugar milk tea, it is a great sweet treat that accommodates a warm waffle very nicely. The atmosphere of the store is extremely cozy and welcoming, but does not offer seating. it is very covid safe with the door and whole frontal area of the store is completely open to allow for ventilation, they also offer hand gel. Overall dot dot is a wonderful little spot to have a bubble tea!
It’s so exciting to find out there is a new bubble tea opened in stoke newington! Super good bubble tea ! I had the the coffee - HK style with oat milk, and it’s surprisingly yummy! Honestly I didn’t expect oat milk work for bubble tea! I also had the bubble waffles with tofu which is very tasty! And it’s perfect size for lunch! I’d definitely go back to try others on the menu! And finally the cake , I had the sesame cheesecake, omg it is so light and delicious, most importantly it’s not too sweet!
Such a lovely new spot on Stoke Newington Church street. I had the black sugar bubble milk tea and Earl Grey and Yuzu flavor bubble wrap. Both are super tasty and authentic. The staff are lovely too. I also love the thoughtful concept design, vey cohesive.
Grabbed myself a Sesame Miso waffle and a Lychee popping bubble tea. The waffle was super tasty, the miso dressing was The bubble tea was great, the tapioca bubbles were the best I’ve ever had. Big plus for all the vegan options too, will be back to try the crepe cake
Great bubble tea : Update: as much as I like getting a fresh boba at the store, I also sometimes use their delivery service via deliveroo. Don’t hesitate to order - the tapioca pearls are packed separately so you can add them when you are ready to drink your boba. The waffle comes packed in a convenient square box.
