Dory's is, to my mind, the finest sandwich shop in Liverpool. From its humble and cramped beginnings in a shop a few doors down to its current spacious location, it's been serving excellent sandwiches for years. They serve any kind of sandwiches you need, something light like a chicken salad on a baguette to a bin lid stuffed with bacon and egg. They also do boxed salads, soups and jacket potatoes. Service is fast and efficient even at busy periods. Can't recommend them enough.

The best sandwiches in Liverpool and an amazing price! Always the best food and they always listen to the special instructions on my order. Whenever I’m having a bad day I get the Cajun chicken panini and it makes my day. Vegetarian options: The Falafel here is amazing, I’m not a vegetarian but I don’t miss meat when I eat the veggie options at Joeys. When I have veggie friends round it’s always what they order and they absolutely love it.

I enjoyed the food but the menu is so big, it is overwhelming. It covers an entire wall and i couldnt tell you one thing on it. When asking what to get, i was told to "look at the menu" but it doesnt give clear options. I just wanted to know what meats and what salad ingredients you have, not the entire shelf stock. The women in the shop are really chatty and friendly but the men are too direct. I said "how is your day?" And the boy said "what do you want." I said: "Ummm what have you got?" To which he didnt reply and looked down at the food asif its the first time hed ever seen it. It was a bit off putting to me as I like to ask for recommendationsand if there are none... how can you work there if youve never tried anything?! I got a medium chicken salad and an instant coffee for 8.60 which is good. The salad lasted me 2 meals! I'd go there again if it is the women serving as they are super friendly, and always have a smile on their face!
Some of the items didn’t arrive and the drinks were wrong. No phone number on the restaurant so can’t contact them to fix the mistake. Most lazy packaging I have ever seen just put food on a paper plate and put it in a bag for delivery absolutely awfulFood: 2/5

Thank you so much to the Team at Dorys. We were let down by Deliveroo yet again! Our food order went missing, we went along to Dorys and the team all rallied around getting our large food order together. Gorgeous delicious fresh food. Thank you again x
