Excellent learning environment. Teachers and staff pay attention and above all CARE about the kids. Miss Williamson and Mr Taylor alongside Mr Harrison are always at the gates with a warm welcome. Reception and year 1 so far has been a brilliant experience for our little girl who is 5. As for those parents who have been critical of the school and teachers, maybe they should look at their own behaviour, the only thing that is detrimental at the school are some of the parents, who obviously don't know how to talk, park or behave in public.
I strongly agree with some negative reviews as most staffs are unprofessional even a small kids can easily tell those smiles are fake. They become outstanding in the last inspections not necessarily means they will be in the next one. The teachers and management seems over confident hence not bothered about students and parents. Miss williamson seems can't even control her emotionsstress. Not sure how she is holding her position. We and our kids found school was better when they were not outstanding. Not sure what's wrong with them these days. There are several good and outstanding rated school nearby. I am planning move my both kids to somewhere else soon.
they look great with colorful uniform but very bad kids handlings. Speacially Miss S Williamson and her team are seems has lack of experiences and professionalism. Also, I am very sorry to say that there are discrimination and no equality present.
Inadequate to look after our children who are future of this country. Don't sent your kids to this school if you want a bright future as your kids will spent most of the time of the days in there.
if you want you children to grow with confident do not send them here. Most of the teacher are new and uprofessional including the Deputy head Miss.
The school has undergone alot of improvements however the communication amongst the administration staff and the teachers could be deemed unsatisfactory.
Possibly worst school in this area. Your kids will hardly learn something good.
Very bad services, no equality at all. I think people only don’t say anyting because they think their children will get mistreated or ask to leave the school. Cannot believe we are still living in this world.
This is the perfect school to send your children from early Learning working up to secondary school, they have highly trained staff to give your children the best start in life by helping and supporting them with all the educational needs that they will need in their journey in life. If your looking for a great school with fantastic education, then I highly recommend the use of Dorrington Academy as your first stop for giving your children the start they need in life. Professional and trained staff at hand to address any of your concerns as well as having your children's best interests at heart. They also have after school clubs to help your child with that extra support they may need as well as activities that will keep them healthy. Giving you more time to do other things while knowing that your child is in good hands.
