What a superb stately home!! The second best Jacobean house in the country!!! A wonderful house which is still lived in by the owners, but open for tours if booked in advance. Our guide was so knowledgeable, pleasant and informative. Nice cafe, inside and out and great service with a smile and a chat.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
I planned a wedding at Dorfold Hall last summer for a couple who wished to marry in Cheshire in a venue with a beautiful outdoor setting. I am a wedding planner and it was clear to me that Dorfold would tick all of my couple's boxes. A gorgeous historic property with newly built modern, contemporary event spaces, spectacular gardens and stunning views. It was the first venue I visited with my couple and they booked! From then on the planning journey - working with the event team at Dorfold - was a dream. They could not have been more helpful, professional and lovely to work with. The wedding day itself was perfect and the wedding has been featured by the English Wedding Blog. Now, I just can't wait to go back there to plan another wedding. Fantastic wedding venue with a fairy tale flair. We got married here in August 2022 on a Sunday and it couldn't be better, just perfect. The organisers around dorfold hall made a perfect job. Espacially Zoe, the wedding event manager was highly professional, obliging and supportive. Without you, it wouldn't have been such a special and unique day for us. Thanks again, Thomas & Mona
Beautiful grounds and the wedding venue itself is perfect for hosting a meal and the party. There are exceptional facilities and a courtyard where firepits are lit for guests to enjoy. The staff are very attentive and friendly.

Fabulous venue for ceremony and wedding wedding breakfast. Catering from The Cheshire Dining Experience. A delicious array of drinks and cocktails from the Dorfold Hall bars themselves! Friendly, helpful staff. I cam definitely recommend this place.
The hall tour is around 45mins and extremely informative. Plenty of rooms to see with information on each. Too rainy when we went to wander around the estate, will do that on a fine day.
