Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff. Had a different haircut recently and I was a bit apprehensive about it but the end result was really good. Haley is very good at her job. I would recommend this hairdressers to anyone.

I made an appointment here after having a consultation and being told they could do what I wanted. Turned up on the day of the appointment after sorting care out for my 5 year old after school and sorting my babies lunch all packed ready for him and taken time off work. I was then told that they couldn’t do what I wanted and my appointment was cancelled. They told me my hair was too damaged which it is not! I have a lot of hair and the manager there was trying to suggest that some had been broken but that’s far from the truth; I had had it feathered so a lot of my hair is all different lengths. What upset me and shocked me even more is how I was made to feel ridiculed in front of all the clients. The Manager also tried to tell me I just needed to go back brown. I didn’t want to!! She then told me not to bother trying other hairdressers as they will just do it and won’t care. So I felt like I had to just leave with the horrible prospects of having dark roots for life and the daunting fact that I had to live with it. Anyway I walked into town and went to Number Nine after hearing such good reviews. I explained what had happened and they were absolutely disgusted. After looking at my hair they assured me it is not terribly damaged like I had been told and that they could apply bleach only to the roots and do the other things asked for so I booked an appointment with them. In my honest opinion I feel the real reason I was treated this way from Do Das was due to lack of staff. I’ve been using them years and I have taken my daughter there for cuts before and I remember another time I had gone for a colour and the Manager had turned me away saying they didn’t have time to do my colour and that was due to lack of staff. (Staff not turning up to work). But to upset and ridicule me and make up a story about the condition of my hair was disgusting and the way in which it was done. The manager stood behind me picking up pieces of my hair and tutting!! I will take my business elsewhere from now on. I will also be letting David Worthy know as my partner plays squash with him. He is the owner of this Do Das!! I wonder if he knows this goes on?

Nikki always takes time not only with my cut but is always interested in what's happening in my life, about holidays I've booked, family and many other topics, she's very hard working and very aware of what's going on around her. It's always a great experience. Being an ex hair dresser myself, all be it many years ago, I'm very particular on how my hair is cut and if I'm not satisfied I will say and if that doesn't work I try somewhere new, on saying that I've been going to Nikki for many years , so that should speak volumes.
