Domino’s is passionate about being the best pizza company in the whole world. We want to deliver a piping hot pizza to your door under 22 minutes (yeah, that specific!). We know what YOU expect from us and we will try to exceed that each and every time by delivering quicker than anyone else, delivering better pizzas than anyone else and getting it right every time! We went to Domino’s today after receiving an email about a pizza offer. When we asked about the offer at the counter, the member of staff was extremely rude and dismissive. He simply said, “It’s online only” in a very unpleasant manner and walked away without making any effort to explain it.nnSo, while already standing in the restaurant, we ordered through the app for collection.nnUnfortunately, things then became much more stressful. My 7-year-old son went to the toilet and accidentally locked himself inside. He couldn’t get out, and what followed was around 1.5 hours of an extremely stressful situation, with my husband, members of staff, a manager being contacted, several people trying to help, and even a police officer who happened to be nearby getting involved in trying to get our son out. As any parent can imagine, our only concern at that point was getting our child out safely.nnIn the middle of all this, while my husband and one of the staff members were trying to free my son, the same member of staff behind the till called our order and handed it to somebody else. When I asked what had happened to our pizza, instead of showing any understanding of the situation, he blamed us and said we had ordered it for a different location. I showed him the order on my app proving that this wasn't the case.nnI honestly found his attitude unbelievable. We were standing there extremely stressed and worried about our 7-year-old child being locked in a toilet, and this was the response we received.nnEventually, he called our order again, and we asked if they could please keep it on the hot rack until we managed to get our son out. After approximately 1.5 hours, we finally got our little boy out safely — thankfully that was the most important thing.nnWe then collected our pizza, which had been sitting there for around 1.5 hours. Nobody offered to replace it or even suggested making a fresh one. The manager did ask my husband for his phone number and said he would send some vouchers or something similar, which we appreciate, but honestly, this isn't about the pizza or the vouchers.nnIt's about how customers are treated, especially when they are clearly going through an extremely stressful situation.nnThe manager and the other staff members who tried to help with our son deserve credit for getting involved, but the attitude of the particular staff member behind the till completely ruined what was already an incredibly stressful experience.nnMaybe sometimes it's worth taking a moment and asking yourself whether customer service is really the right job for you when you have such a consistently rude and dismissive attitude towards customers.nnWe weren't expecting special treatment. A little bit of empathy, patience and basic human understanding would have gone a very long way today.nnAfter everything that happened, someone simply saying “Don't worry about the pizza, we'll make you a fresh one once you're sorted” would have made such a difference.nnIt wasn't about the pizza. It was about the complete lack of empathy when we needed it most.nnI really hope this feedback reaches the right people, because customer service should be about understanding that sometimes there is a person and a difficult situation behind the order number.
Last night, We had Domino’s Pizza. The ultimate cheesy garlic bread was super delicious as well as the fries were tasty with chicken strippers were breaded and tasty and Fanta is my favourite drink, I will order that food again. Super delicious!
Ordered via app and collected lunch deal. Walked in when the app showed ready to collect. Friendly staff. Seating area available.nNice location with parking.
Went in to buy 4 pizzas today 08/01/23 at about 1pm.There was one person taking orders and making the pizzas.That staff was very rude and never showed any good customer service ,from his speech and actions .He was very grumpy and he didnt seem to care about taking the correct orders as he was mumbling in his speech and the background music in the customer waiting area didn't help and also the glass that seperates the customer side and the side where customer service person is standing.nWish it ended there but no when we got home i noticed My order was messed up,got one wrong pizza and also the other ones poorly made ,the thin base was dry and cracking and had cracked too before it was packaged. I'm a regular customer at this place but at times I wonder if some of the people who work in there really want to work in there and if they know what good customer service is.nEspecially the guy who served me today he's always grumpy and makes me feel bad when ordering pizza cause he has no sign of cheer most of the times.Basic cheerfulness expected from someone serving a customer like greeting and offer a fake smile .nI'm sure this place can do better cause we love our Dominoes pizza.
