Another excellent meal in one of our favourite pubs. Great staff and excellent to food. Good selection of real ale and this pub has a cosy fireside where you can warm up on a cold night.
The food here is fantastic. The mixed grill was perfect . Steak was cook to perfection, gammon with 2 eggs, chicken, pork chop, sausage and burger with all the trimmings you would expect and a Yorkshire pudding too! A little more expensive than some mixed grills but based on what came on the plate and the quality, it was worth it. Staff were friendly and a nice out of town location.
I have no words!! Food was AMAZING!! My son enjoyed all the dogs that were welcome too! Service was brilliant and so was the food. No complains at all! Such a nice place. Thankyou! 100% recommend x
First Visit...what a find .. Beautiful Roast Dinner and such great Value Friend had the pie ...said it is delicious..the staff are so helpful definitely Recommend..
Love this place, the food is fantastic, a bigger burger menu you won't find!!! And pies to die for. I had the black and blue burger and hubby had the steak and ale pie. Both delicious. We sat in the bar with the roaring fire. Could have stayed all afternoon. Dog friendly too
Well done to the staff team, this was our first pub drink and food in over a year, and felt completely safe with the spacious outdoor table service. The menu is good with something for everyone and there were plenty of attentive staff on hand so we never felt abandoned. Amazing chips! Just what we needed after a good long walk with the dog nearby.
Great food as always, had the mixed roast dinner and couldn’t be happier. Staff also good and friendly. busy with lots of kids but that’s to be expected:

Absolutely lovely place to eat. Sunday dinner special of beef and turkey was a joy to eat. The staff were the most pleasant and helpful I’ve ever encountered - this prompting me to leave this review. A rear 10 out of 10. Clearly the staff are chosen carefully and that means everything to the customer. Highly recommended!
Lovely friendly landlady and bar staff. Wow the food is lovely and there's plenty of it at for not a lot of your hard earned. Will defo be going back for more.
