Absolutely a delightful place, it's very much a hidden gem. Well worth a visit, food was amazing and all staff are a credit to you.. Will be visiting again very soon
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, love that it has retained its character. Food delicious I had the stir fry. Dog friendly
Saw the reviews and thought we would try out , I wasn’t disappointed food was lovely will deffo be back , only negative was that the place was extremely cold , think this may put some people off from going back
Haven't been here since its refurbishment, in fact probably 15 years but wasnt disappointed Lovely lunch with an old friend. Staff were really friendly, burger was truly amazing not to mention the secret recipe flavouring on the chips . Really was the best burger I have had in ages. Menu is limited , but very tasty. Will definitely visit again.
New landords had been there 2 days when we went in on Saturday 29th October 2022. Very welcoming and great little pub. Went there in the afternoon and back again just before going home to Blackburn. Had a great laugh. Thanks guys!!
What a fab night, stumbled upon this little gem by accident but so glad we did. Staff are so lovley and friendly. We actually went back after we had been into town because we enjoyed it so much and felt so welcome. Will defo be on our to do list nexr time we hit preston.
Very friendly staff, was welcomed with a smile and good service. Pub was bright and airy with its old age charm being retained in the decor and atmosphere. Beer garden is decorated and is of a good size, ideal sun trap for an afternoon drink. Good clean pint of pedigree on draught, the San miguel tasted great cold, good selection of bottles and decent offers on shots
Great place, I went in for the second time ever and its changed alot. Gone is the dark dingy look, its fresh and the food was lovely and fresh. We had the 2 burger and 2 pint deal, cant fault it and will be definitely going back to try the Sunday roast. Best of luck to the new landlady and team. Kris
Family run business, working very hard to get the pub back up and running. Glad to see all the black paint work has gone. Looks so much brighter. Very reasonable prices for beer and looking forward to them restarting food very soon.
Called in yesterday for a drink but won’t be going again. The place is filthy, behind the bar is full of rubbish and empty bottles. Outside every table was filthy with empty glass and rubbish, the floor was covered in rubbish and cigarette ends, flies were swarming due to the stench from the bins and general dirt everywhere. I didn’t even finish my drink because it was that bad.
