The Dolphin public house is now closed for the forceable future. Unfortunately due to disputes with those who run the dolphin, pint pot trading ltd. There was no alternative but for the assistant manager to quit with immediate affect, leaving the dolphin without staff. No idea when or even if it will re-open but for those customers we now call friends, we would like to appilogise for any inconvenience caused & thank you from the bottom of our hearts for becoming our friends. We hope to see you somewhere soon Love & best wishes Chris,Mina,Katie, Connor & Zoe.
4 of us popped in for a quick drink on the way past, we've often wondered what it was like in there .... we were plesently surprised, great staff and a warm welcome from the regulars.
Can't really speak for the food as I haven't eaten there in years now, but overall a smashing little pub for those looking for a couple of casual pints during the day or a chilled evening out. Can get quite busy of an evening and especially the weekend, but the staff and those who visit are friendly enough, just say hello and I'm sure they'll be happy to strike up a conversation with you. A dartboard can be found next to the bar, although be warned this is in kind of an awkward place as it's right next to the corridor leading to the toilets and small beer garden, so if you fancy a game during a busy period be prepared to give way to those wishing to use either of these!
Great little pub, friendly staff and punters alike. Great atmosphere, definitely would recommend it.
The best pub in glascote you can go too!! Very friendly and great atmosphere especially when they have a Caribbean day!!
Me and my family went for a Sunday dinner today and I've got to say it was amazing, very fresh and cooked to perfection.......compliments to the chefService: 5/5
