I ate here, had the cod and chips, it was really nice. lovely chunky chips, generous pot or sauce and nice crispy batter on the fish, didnt appear to have been frozen stuff either. Lovely quiet place and nice and relaxed for people eating alone. Really good prices for London as well. I was a bit dubious after reading reviews but was glad I visited and would definitely eat here again whilst away.
seemed to be extremely very well for eating, so nice personal and the cleaning staff brought a perfect scramled egg. but i would have wanted to bath in the pool beacuse it had a very nice intense smell but they said it no good because of zyklon. in the end it was a very difficult manager there, he didnt want to eat at my table, probably a liar cant explain it otherwise. really nice restaurant, greeting from dolphin bar and grill managemnet ^^ : -Bide raphael
Service was terrible apart from 1 waitress named Alexandra. Alexandra was the only friendly one! We were waiting to be seated for too long, the place was empty, I had booked in advance and they looked at us as if we were intruding. Food was lovely though. If only they were nicer, we might have stayed longer!
This place automatically adds a service charge instead of discretionary tips. Staff aren’t motivated to achieve a good level of service. One simple example is that they wouldn’t make toast with breakfast yesterday morning. Simple excuse that the toaster wasn’t working is not acceptable for an hotel breakfast. Also, no sausages left. Bacon, hash browns and beans all cooked long before they were served. Disgraceful coffee. How can the owner of this property think it’s ok to have a Resteraunt next to an indoor swimming pool? Maybe the core problem is that it’s a poor environment for staff to work in?
£15.95 for an English breakfast, which appeared to have been cooked 3 hours earlier, dry and hard sausages bacon and black pudding. The eggs both arrived broken and were sent back. All in all, rather disappointing as their are local cafes and pubs which would serve a much better fayre at a fraction of this price.
Saw the good reviews on Google and the website looked nice so I took some colleagues here for lunch, but it was terrible. Looking back I can see that the reviews here are mostly for the area of Dolphin Square and not for the restaurant. The restaurant wraps around a swimming pool, even though there is glass, you cannot escape the smell of hot chlorine - not pleasant when you're dining. The servers were pleasant and accommodating, so thank you to them. We ordered three gourmet sandwiches: steak, clubhouse and crunchy chicken. The first point to note is that the prices are all a few pounds more than on the website. Even though there were only two other tables who were just having drinks, it took over 30 minutes to bring our sandwiches. The steak sandwich came in soggy ciabatta, and the onion relish was overpoweringly onion - I couldn't taste the steak at all. The clubhouse came very overcooked, a little greasy and almost completely tasteless. Luckily the crunchy chicken was average! We placed one order of pancakes to share as the picture on the board showed a stack of american style pancakes. We received one small crepe that was so thick and leathery, you could barely get a spoon through it. It was empty inside with a few slices of banana on it and some chocolate sprinkles - tasteless and chewy aside from the banana. I will give two stars, because the service had a pleasant smile and this is all completely out of their control, but I would recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs. A shame as every other Pimlico restaurant I've been to has been lovely.
The kind of place where you can use the toilet, the wifi and do your work without anybody coming to take your order. Absolutely extraordinary indifference on behalf of every single member of the staff, who are arrogant, rude and have a very bad turnover. Very badly managed. Oh, and the £16 English breakfast. Avoid!
Lovely place! I went with a friend who is a member and thoroughly enjoyed the aquafit class. The instructor was very sweet and helpful. If I lived in London, I would most definitely join.
Great dinner for 20 ppl. We were a large group and from the moment we contacted the team everything went smooth. Timings were nailed, friendly staff, great food, good value for money. Definitely going back for a Birthday or similar dinner
I could have developed a contagious infection and discovered the cure in the time they took to bring me my food. The place was dead and I had ordered the not-so-challenging burger. When it finally arrived, I was presented with a pretty awful board of food that tasted like cardboard. And 9 chips. N-I-N-E. I know I'm quite a small girl but I enjoy portions! Stop trying to be fancy. You ain't.
