I love the fish section; staff super knowledgeable and friendly. I am a total newbie setting up my tank and they have been fab every step of the way. I do wish the guinea pigs had a bit more space and that they only sold hamster cages that meet the basic requirements. Some are tiny and very unsuitable; fun to look at but not for long term homes.
Lovely pet store, you can take your dog in to choose his own toy. That's what I did as it was my boys birthday. Also had a harness and lead, girls were very helpful and kind to my boy, he hugged them all. I visited because they're lovely ladies and kind to my dog
Fantastic pet store catering for a wide variety of pets. Keen prices and good selection. Staff all willing to offer their advice when approached. Well behaved dogs welcome inside store.
Enjoyed shopping at Dolittles with my pup! The staff were very friendly and forgiving Bobby stole and ate a snack while shopping. There is plenty of choice and the shop is big enough to find everything you need for your dogs and cats and fish, birds and reptiles!.
Great pet store. Friendly and helpful staff that are honest with what you do and dont need when getting a new pet. Iv had two budgies and a guinea pig from here and all have been very healthy!
Always when near by love popping in just to have a browse. I now own 2 budgies and 1 chinchilla. They are so informative dont push you to buy extra things you dont need and even helped me get the cage in to my car for me.
Disappointed to see the size of some of the cages/enclosure that the rabbits are kept in… Visited today and noticed one rabbit in a tiny cage where it had no room to run around. Came away feeling really sad because of this. The shop however had a good selection of cat toys and treats the original reason we were in there. I just hope they might reconsider the size of their enclosures…
Friendly, helpful staff. Dogs allowed in, and a sizeable patch of grass outside to allow them to toilet first. There's always a great selection, for many types of pet.
Refused to offer a refund on a £4.99 small bird bath. Charlotte insisted it was fit for purpose but could not fit it to any of their numerous bird cages, even though she initially said it was just mine it wouldn't fit. Offered me a credit note. Even though I showed them it was against UK legislation. She insisted it was company policy. Very rude they have now lost a customer.
Great store, unfortunately didn’t have the treats we were looking for this time around, so bought from a different store online.
