Fantastic pet shop, highly recommend! We wanted to surprise our daughter for her birthday, with 2 new little piggies, and Huggle Pets could not have been more helpful & informative. Thank you so much to the staff, who were just brilliant. Grace & Violet have settled in really well to their new home x
Super knowledge and helpful team who are obviously passionate about what they do. Live food is well stocked and seems to have more in the boxes than other pet stores. They do loads for the local community also which is fab.
Fabulous pet shop! So, since my visit here I found out that not only are they a pet shop with a huge array of items, but they are also community based running a huge amount of programmes for people in the community. HugglePets work with schools, the council, Mental health first aiders and are not for profit. Everything they do, is put back into the shop for the benefit of the community and people using the programmes available. They also run free sessions throughout the school holidays with the animals. The senory aquatic room is fabulous, whether you're a fish keeper or not and is always open, with no pressure of buying anything! Fabulous find. I wish I knew it existed before. I bought a beautiful parrot fish!

I found the website and checkout to be confusing regarding my order for frozen food! - 'shipping to this address...' my address clearly showed appears above and below the inconspicuous 'click and collect' icon/notice?. After several days wondering why my order hadn't yet shipped, I was then contacted by email, "Hi, thanks for your order. We note you have added a note regarding the delivery, however, your order has been placed for click and collect. Please advise if you are able to collect this item, as this item is not able to go out for delivery". I replied, "I wasn't aware that shipping was click and collect on my order! I am not able to collect." They then responded, "Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, we do not ship frozen items. Would you like me to cancel your order?" ...COULDN'T IT ALL HAVE BEEN MADE SO MUCH EASIER, FOR GOODNESS SAKE??!
Love this little shop! Bought my first ever praying mantis from there! They really love and look after the livestock and have so much guidance and equipment to buy!
had what I needed except breathing space. not sure if they thought I was trying to shoplift pond equipment or if the staff are just a bit much. Hate being hovered over in a shop. I don’t even have a garden lol. Good stock though the fish display in the back is nice kids loved it
Staff are friendly enough but is overpriced compared to other pet stores nearby and it is no better quality. The fact you cannot return items only store credit is ridiculous. It’s not a store that loves pets it loves cash.
Have been for a couple of SEN sessions which my kids have loved, the staff are lovely and really take time with the children, with a good variety of animals. Have also just been on a weekend where staff have been just as friendly, even letting my son hold a couple of the animals. Would highly recommend!!
Always been disappointed with this place in the past not with choice always excellent got everything you need for your pets but with staff normally walk round with long faces and totally miserable but not today All I can say is WOW Shout out to a girl called Danni best service I've experienced anywhere in years full of knowledge of products a genuine caring girl that loves her job All I can say is hold on to this girl she's excellent when you have a diamond look after it x
