Had a fantastic brunch with 2 friends, lovely, friendly staff. Great menu options. Between us we had eggs florentine, eggs benedict and bacon, poached eggs and avocado on toast - everything was delicious and good portion sizes - we plan to come back and try other options
I had a wonderful experience at Mariners Cafe in Exmouth. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. Although it was a little slow to come to the table, the food was well worth the wait. The flavours were fresh and delightful, and the portions were generous. I particularly enjoyed the bacon, which was cooked to perfection and had a lovely crispy texture. The staff at Mariners Cafe were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Although there was a minor mix-up with my order, where they brought Egg and Bacon instead of just Bacon as I requested, the staff were quick to rectify the mistake and were very apologetic. The atmosphere at Mariners Cafe was cozy and charming, with comfortable seating and a pleasant ambiance. I also appreciated the lovely decor and art works and history on the wall, which added to the overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend Mariners Cafe to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Despite the minor hiccup with my order, the food and service were excellent, and I will definitely be returning in the future."
What a great cafe. We arrived without booking 10 of us. All the staff went out of their way to make sure we were seated comfortably. We all ordered and were kept up to date with the progress of the food. We all enjoyed good home cooked food, presented beautifully. Table service was great served by a local person sharing knowledge of the area. We will certainly return. Kid-friendliness: The children enjoyed choosing their own drinks and felt very grown up sitting on their own.
It was just too busy when we were there. Took a long tome to get served even our cup of tea and the food was going to take too long to get to us and we would have missed our boat trip so we canceled. Then took ages to get the bill. Looked nice but not if you're in a hurry in the summer!

This is a cracking little cafe, the staff are friendly, there's a good choice of food and it is well made. Would definitely come again if we were local.
Very disappointed in the general hygiene. We observed the elderly lady coughing on her hand, in which she was holding raw bacon then placing on the grill, wiping not washing her hands on her apron then handling sliced tomatoes. There was no mention of allergies or dietary requirements which was necessary for our order and was the worst customers service I have seen for a long time. I am genuinely amazing that this cafe maintains any kind of business. Steer clear if you value basic health and safety!

This is THE place to get your full english in Exmouth! Situated in the Exmouth Docks, and a stones throw from the beaches it’s a perfect location. The food is affordable and they let you swap out items for those fussy eaters like me!
