After losing a stone from my ring, Doble's replaced it and you can't even tell which stone it was. It is as good as new now!
Disappointing customer service. Promised a call back within a couple of days with a price for something we wished to purchase. Called to chase the info when I hadn't heard back, but a week later still no call. Have gone somewhere else with much better customer service and found something of much nicer quality too. Won't be back to Dobles.
I don't like to knock independent shops as there aren't so many about these days but changing a watch battery turned into a bit of a drama. That said the price was fair and I would go back. They have an interesting selection of watches and jewellery and seem prepared to buy jewellery for cash or allow you to use the trade in price as in-store credit.
My partner and I came to the Totnes store to look at wedding rings, the lady that served us was incredible, kind, caring and very patient with us both. The rings ended up choosing us and we went for vintage which we would never have expected. A wonderful memory was made for us here. I am terminally ill and have to wear a mask and gloves and struggle with speaking, this was not questioned or even mentioned once and we were both made to feel valued and special . Incredible service thank you so very much. You have made us very very happy. Ted and Ali x
Thank you to Natalie and to John, after searching for a long while for an engagement ring I found exactly what I was looking for at this shop. My fiancé absolutely loves what I found here. Staff have been very helpful and the whole experience has been a pleasure. Highly recommend
Went in here to get an Omega watch valued and was told it was worth almost nothing. "Maybe £50 at best, because it's very common." I asked if she was sure about that. She was. I just sold it on eBay for £465.
Natalie and the other staff are most charming and helpful with great attitudes - a most enjoyable buying experience, a recommended gem.

Having somehow lost the stone from my cuff link the helpful staff member Vivian returned them , repaired and like new ! It’s small boutique jewellers that specialise in that something different for gifts that you won’t find on the high street in the chain jewellers .
