Pleasant, airy Cafe but has annoying logistical problems. Quite a long wait to order altho fairly quiet. No white sugar for teawaiting for order apparently. Ordered hot pork sandwich with stuffing. Biting into it- no stuffing. Queried, and stuffings run out.nThis at 1pm on a Sunday when people will be ordering roasts. More forethought required.
Lovely garden centre with a great cafe inside. The staff showed us to a table and took our order, the food was hot and fresh, lovely coffee and atmosphere. The garden centre has lots of choice too, unfortunately maiden head aquatics have moved to Cirencester but we made the trip down there and again the garden centre was very good
Called in for a coffee today and was very disappointed. There were tables available which we were told were reserved for patrons with dogs. We were sat on a dirty sofa to wait for a table. One man was running around trying to please everyone whilst other staff members were talking. We left after 10 minutes in disgust after being offered one of the dog friendly tables next to the toilets. Will not be visiting again.
Just getting ready for the upcoming Spring/ Summer growing season. Lots of variety in plants, pots, seasonal furniture. Went with friends who live locally. A bit pricey for my budget, though nice healthy looking specimens.nnGood I could take my dog with me. Though didn’t notice a separate area in cafe for well behaved dogs to sit with owners.nnOther places on site, a pet shop, Cotton Traders, Pure Gym. I saw the advert for Waitrose but didn’t notice whereabouts.
Bought some plants all good but twice the price of elsewhere, However, was signed up at the till for one of their loyalty cards, I was not told there was a charge of £15, called to cancel and was still charged, so had to call again and chase, maybe the till staff are on a commission as she was very pushy, total waste of money unless you are a frequent shopper there, watch out for their scams..
