Quite a nice garden centre which is more of a destination than anything else.nGood quality products but many at premium prices. The restaurant does good business and tables are well spaced out.nWe had a Xmas scone which was lovely and a mince pie which was poor.nThe staff looked tired and certainly didn't project any Xmas cheer.nParking is ample and well laid out.
Food was fine. Staff friendly. However the windowsills hadn’t been cleaned for a very long time. Large cobwebs, crumbs everywhere, even bird poop on the windowsill. If this is what their visible cleanliness is like, makes me wonder about hygiene in their kitchen?

They have everything you need to enjoy your home and garden, from flowers and plants to tools, furniture and homeware. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable.nnI especially liked the restaurant, where I had a delicious lunch with a view of the beautiful gardens. They have a deli bar and an in-store butcher, as well as a farm food hall with local produce. The food was fresh and tasty, and the portions were generous. The soft play area was also a big hit with kids, who had a lot of fun while I browsed the store.nnDobbies Garden Centre in Lisburn is more than just a garden centre, it's a destination for the whole family. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves gardening, shopping, or just relaxing in a lovely environment. It's one of the best garden centres I've ever been to, and I can't wait to go back!
Ample parking, just off the M1 motorway. Generally staff are great, sometimes some poor staff in restaurant. Superb value for money if you are a Dobbies Club member. Well used Garden Centre by many, hopefully will continue for many years to come.
Cafe was virtually closed around 3.30pm. Hardly any food available bar biscuits, crisps, scones and a couple of buns. Cup for tea was covered in tea stains and no tea spoons either. No skimmed milk available. Had to pour milk from a heavy flask into the smallest ceramic milk jar with a tiny opening - some craic. Not enough comfortable chairs - lots of wooden chairs or wooden benches but few padded seats and any they had were low to the ground and hard to get out of for older people not to mention the low table too. The book selection used to be great but it’s now rubbish. Completely rubbish. Not as many gift items now. Plant selection was fine. Outdoor furniture is seriously overpriced!
