Amazing garden Centre! Visited here weekend just gone to collect some plants for my garden and was very happy with the selection they had for sale! We also passed by their Cafe to grab a bite to eat and the food tasted great! Definitely a place i'll visit again.
The garden centre itself is amazing! Always find a good bargain in the clothing section and the homewares and plants selection are fantastic.nSuch a shame the whole shopping experience is ruined when you enter the cafe/restaurant. The waitress who took our order was extremely blunt to me and my family. “What you want!?” No manners whatsoever. Slammed the card machine down on our table. As we got up to leave, the same waitress was arguing with the family next to us. How can 2 areas of the same shop act so different to customer service?
We recently revisited the restaurant , courtesy of the assistant manger, after a previous bad experience. Improvements made are good. The 'meet and greet' point is now by the restaurant, which has a more defined area. Tables are cleared more quickly. All the waitresses polite and helpful, water was brought for our dog. Unfortunately, our fish and chips were dried out, not so busy today. Please bring back the Croque Monsieur/Madam, they were lovely!
Large garden centre with cafe,restaurant and some concession stores.tbey sell garden furniture etc as well as a massive range of plants and associated products.nThere is a food hall features a lot of Waitrose products and premium brands at premium prices . There is a butcher selling locally farmed meats.nThere is also a branch of Maidenhead Aquatics on site.nThe restaurant/ cafe is vast and sells anything from cakes and sandwiches through to cooked breakfasts and afternoon meals. There is also an outside seating area to enjoy your food if the weather permits.nThere are toilet facilities onsite.nThere is a good sized free to use car park.nDisabled parking and general access is good.nOpens at 9am every day except Sunday when it's 10.30 until 4pm.nI do find Dobbies on the expensive side but it is a pleasant place to shop.nIf you're a real regular you can become a member for a monthly fee and enjoy discounts and priorities to events etc.
Came here for afternoon tea with my sister and mum. We are all vegetarian which was well catered for with egg, cheese, and cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches. We also had vegetarian sausage rolls and quiche which was really tasty. You got 2 scones each and several cakes - all delicious!nMy mum has dementia and all the staff were amazing - taking her hand to show her to the table, checking in to see if we needed anything, patience while we helped choose her drink. Little things like this really make the difference. Would definitely recommend based on our experience today. Thank you to all the staff.
