Love this place but it is pretty pricey. If I was super rich I would spend a lot of money here! It is much more than just a garden centre - it also has a wide range of gifts such as toys, books, candles, clothes and more, as well as a large cafe. It does have a little playground but it could do with expanding on this to keep the kids entertained. If you're doing up your garden then this is the place to go.

Always clean and tidy, good selection of seasonally changing stock. On site cafe is well priced with a good selection of foods and beverages. There’s a farm shop selling fresh produce with a butcher’s and deli counters. There is a good selection of plants available as well as a gardening advice desk. The aquatics department is well stocked. There are the usual toy, home and clothing departments.

Nicest Dobbies I've visited. Come here every year on our holiday and it's always been great. Staff are incredibly friendly and the breakfast is great for the price. Has a great selection of foods and other things and is especially better during the winter period where the shop is essentially a grotto. Will come here for years to come. Great place for buying Christmas presents too.

Love Dobbies! Would be 5 stars, only reason they get four sadly, is due to trying to contact their customer services department, had to contact via a private message on Facebook messenger. Not ideal was looking to contact someone in Ayr branch re a question about my membership.

A tasty 7-item breakfast and excellent coffee. Very good value and friendly service although queue was longer than usual today. 20% discount on all my purchases today, an invitation to a members' Christmas meal and 2 large free coffees courtesy of my Dobbies Reward card. A warm, welcoming atmosphere as ever. Some items seem rather overpriced at full price so would only buy them if discounted.
