Absolutely super visit to Dobbies today. Friendly staff who stop to chat to you. Lovely scones and coffee today and Maisie the puppy enjoyed the pet section with lots of super snacks and toys. Another lovely visit for coffee and cake, and Maisie loved looking at all the Pumpkins. Super friendly staff who are always extremely helpful with any queries.
Very disappointing visit to the cafe yesterday afternoon. Every single table in the conservatory had dirty dishes which weren't cleared for the entirety of our 40 minutes there. I can understand that the staff are very busy however this is very off putting. We are regular visitors and have absolutely no complaints about the staff who are very hardworking, helpful and cheerful even when under great pressure. They are lovely. However a few more staff available for table clearing duties would make a considerable difference. And £1 for a two fingered KitKat? Really?
Love the place. Very helpful staff. Little bit pricy at the restaurant but the food is nice. Wide range of plants and fertilisers. Sitting area at the restaurant is a conservatory you can see plants and little play area for children.
Excellent Restaurant staff exceptional especially young man on sandwich food counter Polite, hygiene practice beyond expectations. All staff cheerful and professional Dog friendly section kept spruced up and water free bowl ready available Store had loads to offer and made for extremely enjoyable afternoon. Without question...we'll be back Thank you.
Third visit to the cafe this year and on each occasion spring, summer and festive visit really poor service, food and dirty with cutlery which was not clean. I like to give the benefit of doubt but I would have thought that this place could be a money spinner if done right. Quite happy to advise senior management assuming they act on any of the feedback????.
Very good place to shop over priced in my eyes but that's just me. Long queue as always waiting for coffee or snack again bit pricey 1 coffee 1 chocolate 1 scone and cheesecake £13.95. But good Lady loves it
Festive afternoon tea was really good, all the restaurant staff were fab and made it really special! Also, Santa grotto was really good, kids loved it! Cannot wait to be back again
Treated my Mum to an afternoon tea for Mother's Day, a day early due to work commitments. Taken through to a separate room that was all decorated lovely, attentive service from ladies and lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes and a lovely gift at the end. Was a lovely visit and we were made to feel really special. Thank you Dobbies
Asked about the kids eat free to be told its a kids 4 item breakfast but I only wanted a roll on square sausage..remember it's 3 items less but charged as an extra meal ??? Sorry not be back...and also there were MANY tables needing attention...nothing to with the STAFF. ... BUT MANAGEMENT!!!
Visited Dobbies in Ayr and asked for use of a wheel chair. Friendly staff couldn't be more helpful and brought our eats and drinks to our table for us. Thankyou so much for a lovely visit from a grateful customer
