Great place and good food. Loved that my dog was allowed in with me. Very cozy next to the fireplace. The outside sitting area looked lovely but the weather was not very good, so stayed inside. The restaurant also has parking spaces right in front of the entrance.Food: 5/5
We went for dinner and I can’t believe the food portion sizes, and the some of the foot quality. My friends husband ordered a fillet steak I’m sure around £30-35s and the size of it, it was smaller than my Pam plus so over cooked. My salmon, it was the tiny and three bites later it was gone, it also had peppercorn sauce on it which I had not asked for. The saving grace where the starters, they were lovely and if a good size. And the staff who were all lovely. So we did leave the young girl a good tip as she was so friendly and helpful. The prices do not reflect the food, we will not be back due to the overpriced food and quality. Sad as it used to be a nice place to eat
Food was a little late in being delivered due to a problem with the check being delivered to the kitchen but overall experience was positive
Abba dreams party night. The atmosphere and entertainment were fantastic. Service was really good and staff were friendly and helpful. The food was a let down on this occasion though as it was a set meal with no choices. All the things I wouldn't pick on the menu! Have been in the past for a meal and had lovely food though.Food: 2/5
Food was a bit cold and parts of order were incorrect. Asked waitress which type of fish was in the ‘battered fish & chips’ listing on the menu, hoping she could answer and she replied ‘battered’. Poor girl didn’t understand the question, I said ‘haddock’ or ‘cod’? She looked extremely puzzled and still answered with “it’s battered fish”. However, I believe the quantity and quality of the food is not reflective on prices. Portion sizes are rather small yet more expensive than last year and the restaurant appears to be operating a reduced menu. Example of this was, mum’s salad was served in a small bowl and charged at £13.95. Steak pie was not an option, so few family members let down as it was available at an earlier date. Menu appears to have lots of seafood dishes and was also unappealing for family members who can’t eat this sort of food. Restaurant seating area was really dark and cold. We were seated next to a fire escape and felt draughty. Staff were polite and mannerly whilst serving. The food bill was astronomical and heavily overcharged. This factor on its own has put me off now. It’s a shame to have to say this review but it’s just not the same place it was last year.
A small walk from the house and the beach, a lovely local to pop in to. I love their margaritas and the chilled pint glasses, nice touch. Very friendly staff and lovely food, the fire is particularly inviting on cold winter days
Great restaurant for a quiet meal and chat. Service is friendly and quick. I would definitely recommend it.Food: 5/5
Very helpful and accommodating. It was busy when I called in unannounced but they still made me feel very welcome. Lovely place for lunch or a family meal.
We ate here today and the service was great, the restaurant was very smart inside and the staff were very attentive and welcoming. We were shown straight to a table and the waiter was straight over for drinks orders, we had a few minutes with the menu and the waitress was straight over to take our food order, shortly followed by our drinks. For food the kids had macaroni and cheese with fries and fruit shoots to drink, adults had Sunday dinner and Cajun chicken pizza. The portion sizes were very good value for money and lovely and hot and it didn't take long from ordering. The waiting staff came to check our meal was good and they were quick to take our used plates away and sort us the bill as we were in a rush. Overall the prices for everything was reasonably priced and the service was fantastic, very impressed and we will be returning, thanks.
Literally so amazing we are on holiday here from Norfolk and I must say this is the best place I have eaten the food was amazing fillet steaks were cooked perfect and the best I've had. Kids food was perfect and the desserts were amazing great prices and amazing service I couldn't fault anything
