Used to be good, but the new pupils are troublemakers who've been expelled from other schools and the school can't handle them. Not only is behaviour unruly, detention and isolation are poorly managed, SEN provision has basically disappeared and teaching is lacking in some areas. Some subjects are well taught, others aren't despite promises to OFSTED to improve the quality of the curriculum. Physics has markedly improved thanks to the new teacher, but GCSE teaching remains a joke in all subjects and A-Level has many problems, including a high percentage of students who fail to continue to Year 13. 'Electrical fire' last year may have been arson by a younger student. Avoid.

Where do I even begin, my little brother attends this awful school I sometimes question what he learns his always coming home and complaining about verious problems if it isn’t the rules it’s the policy. The school tolerates bullying and isolates children with learning difficulties claims it’s going to help them but how does isolation from the others encourage them to be confident and learn or have a normal high school experience. Dan laider should’ve not been promoted what good is a teacher who shouts 24\7 at kids it makes me wonder what on earth does he actually do other than bullying children? this School really needs to sort it self out half of the teachers are never in they claim their ill but then all of a sudden they’ve found a new job if I were them I would move too Wendy left when she had the chance RIP to tony only decent teacher

You’re not allowed to revise during lunch and the ‘behaviour polocy’ is the worst idea they have come up with. Not enough seats in the lunch hall during lunch and god forbid you get cought standing up. In the likley case you dont manage to get one of the scarse chairs you are told to either ‘find one’ or go outside, dont take your coat mind beacuse thats a B2 for your coat and a B2 for going upstairs. Avoid the school.

Just had my last exam there. The exam conditions were awful, students were loud and disruptive. One student put his hand inside of a condom and kept yelling for some guy to look at him. The school used to only accept students that actually had an interest in STEM subjects but now accepts everyone. Most of its students in the younger years are loud, rude, and couldn't get accepted into any other schools so went to Discovery instead.
