This school needs a reality check, unless your child is academically good they aren't interested. If your child is not what they want Mrs Davidson will make it clear that there are other schools which will be better for your child. The headteacher is on a power trip, and she needs to be demoted as she isn't good for the school. I wouldn't reccomend this school to anyone, look for a different school who will put your child first not results.

This school is a joke very tude receptionist who needs to learn some manners on how to talk to people. No communication between staff its like talking to a brick wall would not recommend

My son flourished at St Cuthberts. He is currently studying Medicine at Newcastle University proving what pupils from this school are capable of.

My son had the best experience there-very supportive teachers, serving a wide ranging community. My son was stretched and challenged to achieve the best he could, he is now at University having been inspired to chase his dreams. All of my son's friends parents have similar experiences, I would highly recommend-as would many others, that's why it is oversubscribed! Ignore the haters, (my son got great support in English, IT and Maths as well as the other subjects) send your son here!

The best high school in the city by a million miles. The support I received from all of the departments was so valuable, specifically the Art and Maths departments who were amazing and I am so grateful. Please send your son here you wont regret it!
