This surely has to be one of the finest Dundee V and A adjacent car parks in the western hemisphere. The locals had arranged for a special rainy deluge to accompany our visit, so the car park was exceptionally clean. BTW if you don't have cash you'll have to go through an extraordinarily complex process which requires the downloading of an app, adding your credit card details, and giving away all your private data, and you don't even get a ticket, so have to trust that the car park attendant is on top of his game and checking the database.
Car park for discovery musuem starts at £2.20 for up to 2hrs. Not a huge car park so hence 4 star but ideal as situated right next to musuem.
Easy access to shore sites you may want to visit along side the Tay Bridge. From Discovery point, to the V&A, the restaurant amd hotels from Apex to Premier Inn as well. All of this area is paved so you can walk right alongside the river and of course lots of seats dotted around so you can sit and rest. Plenty places for taking photos as well.
Not a cheap parking but on Sundays is free till 1pm
It was good, no parking charges in operation which was an unexpected bonus.
A great experience seeing this perfectly preserved piece of history!
Straight in parked up , zero issues.
