Bought a lappy from this shop over 4 years ago in 2015. I knew exactly what I wanted Thinkpad X201. They supplied me with exactly what I wanted, at a very reasonable price, with a guarantee. They even gave me a nice spacious computer bag for it. Four years later, after daily use this machine is still going strong, still fast and is dual booting Win 7 and Ubuntu. I am a plumber and use my laptop for pretty much everything. This laptop being an ex-corporate machine was clearly built to take a pounding, and a pounding it has received. Good friendly people to deal with. I would definitely recommend.
Over the years I have brought many computers into them for repair, Both my own and my friends computers They usually sort the problem within 24 hours of looking at them, that is unless they need to order in some replacement parts. I have always found them to be trustworthy since they have been here for nearly 20 years
I have been buying both desktops and laptops from this shop for many years. They have been trading at this location for nearly 20 years now although they have recently moved next door to a larger shop in 15 Clonmel Street and I always advise my friends and family to visit them if they struggle with any computer problems that they might have, as I have always found them to be professional and willing to help.
This shop ruined my computer wiped off all my software then thought they could get away with just replacing the software with windows 7 instead of 10 which is what it had originally without even telling me that's what they had done, I've now a laptop with everything wiped out none of the tiles on the windows 10 work it just says downloads/updates 22 which are 22 tiles all which are "pending" and weeks later are still "pending" and nothing happens when you click update, and yet all I get is answer phone when you try and ring! Don't let these people anywhere near your computers I'm gutted
Most helpful and patient in helping me to get the right laptop for my needs. Delighted with what they suggested and what i finally bought. Also help't me with a couple of internet access problems i had after purchase, as i am a bit of a novice with modern technology. To be thoroughly recommended. Many thanks.
Bought a laptop from them earlier this year, but it was the wrong one, they had another model exactly the same. we called them and they said they would change it for the right one. They did. Great service and highly recommended.
went to another C. shop/repair M st, "didn,t have a clue" just a BASIC question needed to be answered etc. this place DISCOUNT COMPUTERS, Bought 2nd hand laptop here 4 years ago and its STILL GOING. now....that says it all. give credit where its due etc. Good one!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not very helpful. Did not want to understand my needs. Just did the job that was suitable for him. Soo dissapointed, would never come back for any service or query again. Overcharging.
