The staff could not have been more kind, helpful and friendly. So it's difficult to say that sadly the room, in the Hyde, which was supposed to be accessible for the disabled, really let it down. The bathroom toilet wasn't 'disabled friendly'. The bathroom was very tired in decoration. It was difficult to get the bedroom warm. Outside were overgrown bushes and no view of the field beyond. For £130. Per night I would have at least expected fresh milk.

My daughter had her wedding here last week and it was an absolutely fantastic day. The weather was kind and we were able to have the ceremony outside of the orangery by the fountain. An absolutely beautiful house and garden, a perfect place to get married. A big thank you to Charlotte for doing an amazing job. Nothing was too much trouble and everything went to plan without us having to worry about anything. We just had to enjoy the day! Food was delicious and well presented. Would highly recommend.
Recently has our wedding here at Dillington and can’t believe how smoothly it ran! I can’t thank Charlotte enough, truly an amazing woman. Made sure that everything went smoothly on the run up to the wedding and even stayed until 10:00pm on the day to make sure it all went well. The food was OUTSTANDING! And we asked for a lot… The venue itself was spotless and the grounds stunning. If you are thinking about using this venue for your wedding, go for it! If it was anything like ours. You won’t be disappointed!
After coming here and attending courses for years, I returned recently after the pandemic and was horrified to see that the soul has been ripped from the beautiful hall. I would give a five-star review just for the staff who are always fantastic, but whoever designed the interior of the hall to be more wedding friendly? has obviuosly fully embraced cold corporate soullessness. Yes, the original furnishings were worn but they were absolutely right for the age and history of the house. The course itself was, as always, excellent, the food good and the cleanliness of my room and the public spaces exemplary. It is extremely sad that this wonderful place is closing next year - the benefits of learning in later life, in very special surroundings and with like-minded people, cannot be underestimated. To walk in the grounds in contemplation is a blessing. But Covid has cast its shadow and Councils have to find every penny they can.
Just been to a wedding there. Setting and house beautiful, rooms cracking, staff excellent. And the best buffet breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. Couldn't not leave a review.Rooms: 5/5

I have an allotment in the grounds of the estate. Plus also a beekeeper in the Applery orchard. Don't know what it is like inside the house so cannot rate it. Easy access to roads in top and bottom entrances.Location: 5/5
We photographed a wedding at this beautiful wedding venue and fell in love with Dillington House. From the impressive house to the stunning grounds, there are a ton of fantastic photo opportunities! The staff were very friendly and professional, we highly recommend this iconic wedding venue, we hope to return again very soon!
Friendly staff, fabulous food. Always courses on the go here. Fantastic grounds and rooms. Great place for a wedding!
