Great event at Telford today with some amazing vendors... so far we've tried Libertine Burgers, Authentic Argentine BBQ and Bayleys Craft Beers, with great soundtrack in the back ground
Fantastic street food setup! A great way to discover new cuisines and try different street food establishments. I love that it promotes a variety of cuisines and always gets such a great turnout. Definitely the best place to go for street food in the Midlands. I attended the one held at Coventry cathedral ruins, which had a great array of vendors, a DJ and a lovely cathedral back drop. Had some amazing street food from Cleopatra's Kitchen Solihull best middle Eastern food I've eaten and beef on the block beautifully cooked tender melt in the mouth steak.
Well organised. Parking is paid but plentiful. Park was constantly being monitored to clear up litter. Great choice of food & drink. Some long queues especially for the toilets!!. Great for kids & taking your well behaved dogs. Weather was fab which always helps
Good selection of independent street food vendors. The venue itself is m a little slow to open up exactly on time. There is one food vendor one of the pizza ones, I forgot which one who I thought was quite rude as I had asked for a bottle of water that was on his drinks menu, he stated that you have to get drinks from the bar. Okay but why have the drinks menu up? Prices of food is mainly £5+, many vendors don’t accept card so take cash.
The food stalls were the best part, amazing scran! Cannot fault the food or drink stalls, this review is only a reflection on the event. However, the event staff were pretty rude, told us off for walking on grass… classic. It didn’t really seem that dog friendly, my partner said ‘why make it dog friendly if you’re not friendly to dogs’. Atmosphere was okay, but it was raining. Have been to other events similar to this, in Warwick and Droitwich that were much better.
Really cool experience, £2 entry fee and 3 bars with different themes/music. The food trucks/stalls change all the time and they list the changes online. You don't need cash, most of the stalls take card. Really enjoyed ourselves will definitely visit next time we're in Birmingham again.
Had a fantastic afternoon here. My toddler merrily dances away to the music, the atmosphere was incredible. We ate nearly everywhere between us and shared it all, this was our list of vendors in favourite order: 1. Urban Cheesecake - terrys chocolate orange with brownie bits. Quite literally out of this world. 2. Only Jerkin - jerk chicken and fries 3. Jade Rabbit - chicken in a cone just wow 4. Disco Fries - pizza one is really good 5. Whatever the pizza one was there. 6. Patty Freakz - unfortunately did disappoint the patty was burnt.
A must visit for any food lover in Birmingham. The venue is large and has a great vibe, usually with music playing, a number of bars to order drinks at 3 and plenty of food trucks that change weekly apart from a couple of permanent traders that are 100% worth going to. They will post up the schedule for who is there on their social pages so definitely check that before you go, there is always a range of food that you can get. Prices are your typical street food prices ranging from £5-£9 depending on what you are ordering. Place is often busy Friday and Saturday nights but that adds to the atmosphere, you are usually still able to get a spot to sit and eat your food.
Really cool find in Birmingham! We strolled in here, paid a pound each at the door, and found some really cool drink spots and even some vegan poutine! There weren't loads of vegan options buy the vegan poutine was absolutely amazing.
Loved this place! We went on a night when there wasn't as much choice as other nights and still found it hard to make a decision on what to eat! All the food looked fantastic! Nice ale at the bar too!
