The tram line to East Didsbury has made such a great difference in our community. Vote for Jeff Smith to get more investment in public transport in Manchester Withington and across our City.
Poorly signposted: Needs a sign, ideally on School Lane, indicating the platform for the Manchester direction, since safe and quick access from Didsbury Village is on a different street : Olive Shapley Street, off William Street, by the Fletcher Moss pub
If you are going into town but coming from the eastern side, its faster to walk around past the Fletcher Moss rather than cross the tracks at the actual crossing!
This is an excellent tram stop it is easy to get down to the side of the tracks and very accessible as it has a ramp down on both sides of the tracks. You can also safely when there are no trains coming cross the tracks if you need to be on the other side. It has got ticket machines that take cash or card and have never caused me any problems. I would highly recommend this tram station to anyone regardless of disability.
Should anyone want to go, visit the professionally kept gardens.
