Was looking forward to going her and was disappointed. Beef pies in the fridge to the right of the entrance on the pork pie shelf. If i had not asked we would not have known. 3.60 for the pie we had. The young lad serving was not so welcoming in his attitude but did his job. Bought a few bits along with our friends too. It was starting to close up and a chap walked in with the board and never excused or anything thought this a little rude . Saw next door where the sausages were etc the lad in there totally different . Got impression he quite new too. Thanks a pleasure . The pie had very hard pastry some like this wasn't for me. The meat was not overly tasty and in this pie quite grey . Our local butchers is £2 and for me blinds it but it all personal taste. Won't be 're visiting as for us not value for money.

Not just a pork pie shop - though there is a great selection of the famous Melton Mowbray pies - also has sausages, bacon, cheeses, chutneys and preserves. Quick friendly service when I made the 120 mile round trip to get an authentic MM award winning (Supreme Champion!) pie.

I visited this shop last week with my daughter. The only reason I have given this establishment one star is because the system does not allow me to give it zero stars. In the whole of my life I have never encounted such rudeness as I was met with from not one but two of the staff in this store. If that wasn't bad enough I found silver paper inside one of the steak pies when I was eating it. Needless to say I shall never return. If I was the manager of this store I would be ashamed.

Dropped in due to it being the home of the pork pie. The on site hand crafted pork pie was good however I wouldn't go to far out of your way for it especially as they provide a next day delivery service via website. The sausages were tasty and above average although I've had better. Isaac Newtons family home and place of the famous Apple tree is not far and highly recommended.

This place is not a Restaurant!!! It is the Olde PorkPie Shopper Bakery an historical maker of genuine Melton Mowbray Pork Pies Retail Outlet for tourists visiting Melton.
