Dick Hudsons

About

Dick Hudsons in Bingley Moor is a country pub & restaurant oozing rural charm and rustic character.

Story

Originally built on the old packhorse route between Bingley and Ilkley, Dick Hudsons began life in an old farmhouse as an inn called The Plough Boy. When Eldwick Road closed, the business was moved to its present site, then called Highgate Farm. Thomas Hudson took over the inn in 1809, but it was during the tenure of his son, Dick Hudson between 1850-1878 that the pub became renowned for it's food and hospitality.

Beautiful setting. Great food. Great customer service. Friendly place
The best beef & onion pickle roll with dripping gravy and fries, gravy really should be by the boat followed by a fresh super tasty crumble. The bar service was a little slow but ill let them off. Also love the sharing Sunday dinner
We'll set up for today's situation and felt safe but we sat outside. Attentive service and excellent food with reasonable wine prices and beautiful views while eating
Very enjoyable, I had the soup, 10oz Ribeye and Apple & Blackberry Crumble with custard. All very nice, good service and with the government £10 off per person I paid using contactless, can't complain about that. Very satisfied.
Had lunch there and the complete experience was organised, stress free and safe. As always the food and beer etc was brilliant and service great. We managed a table but I see people are encouraged to book to avoid disappointment. What a welcome change after months of confinement. Well worth a trip out, tables outside and in.
Excellent food although maybe have more of a variety in food
