Staff were really friendly and accommodating. I'm not one for getting pub classics, but the steak pie was absolutely fantastic. The starters were just as good fresh sides with the homemade tortilla chips and an eye-watering scotch egg. Worth every penny and more, we shall definitely be praising this establishment. Parking: Free parking for pub patrons Side of the river aire
5 stars for the beer but, unfortunately spoilt by the worst effort of a pizza I have ever experienced. This was supposed to be spicy sausage with jalapeños. I was hungry, it was busy and , for a tenner, I have learnt not to bother again! Sorry Brown Cow.. Your pizza chef lets you down.
I was very disappointed with our meal last night. I had the Prawn and hot salmon salad, you would think 1 of the main ingredients in the food would be quiet plentiful? How wrong was I, 2 prawns in this meal and flaked salmon, my wife had the blackened Salmon, again it advertised broccoli in it, it had the meanest pieces of broccoli known to man. We won't bother going back to eat and we are local and reasonably regular. Very poor.
Had a meal and had to send back as shell fish that wasn't cooked properly .They apologised and took off the bill however I was really sick for days ,I emailed to let them know with no response. I emailed again seven days later saying I was disappointed they had not acknowledged my email and still no response. All it would of took was a acknowledgement and an apology and this review would not of been posted .
The food was of an excellent standard. It was served promptly and the staff were very welcoming and made time for us, even though they were very busy! Recommended for anyone. Vegetarian options: There are tasty vegetarian meals on the menu. Parking: Plenty of parking, but a blind exit on a busy road. Wheelchair accessibility: Space to manoeuvre a wheelchair and a nice, flat floor.
The place has changed quite a bit since I was last here, particularly outside, where a large outdoor area has been furnished and a pizza kitchen installed in one corner, offering additional options to the standard menu. Thomas Taylor beers are prevalent here and pumps line the bar with every option you might wish to sample. I will be back on my next visit to Bingley for sure. Wheelchair accessibility: Pub is at ground level, so easy access for wheelchairs.
It’s a nice gastropub in a great location. The service was good and the food was nice. The flat iron steak especially was delicious - tender, tasty and melted in the mouth. The steak and ale pie too was delicious.
Great pub and a fabulous renovated space. Great service and food will definitely visit again. Please use your local pubs they really need our support!
First I do have to say pizza's enjoyed by 4 family members. I person ordered Chicken @£16 not worth £6 It took just short of 1 hour to arrive at table and it was the size of a child's meal...very disappointed. 1 member ordered sausage n mash, sausage pale looking and sloppy mash. I ordered Nachos..... not worth the money charged.Food: 1/5
This is a lovely pub on the town outskirts, where me and my friend enjoyed ourselves after a walk! My lemonade with gin was refreshing and the interior is styled fantastically, especially the mock barrels, also our table was clean with comfortable seats.
