Gone to DiMaggios East Kilbride many times over the years and always enjoyed the experience. 1st time back since refurb and it looks bright and family welcoming.nnStaff were friendly however not very attentive.nnFood arrived in good time considering how busy it was for Father's Day.nnKids enjoyed their pizza pasta and garlic bread with just the right portion size. Wife enjoyed her pasta portion size and taste.nnThe only disappointment of the night was my own meal.nnOrdered my usual full rack of BBQ ribs and it tasted as good as ever however recieved barely a half rack portion 5 rib bones. When asked if it was indeed meant to be a full rack I was answered yes.nnTo be fair we had money removed from the bill gratuity charge + 10% however still a disappointing experience.
Food was great. Service was good. Only issue was with an order of churros that seemingly went to the wrong table, but annoying everyone couldn't eat together. The kids loved the indoor soft play and outdoor play area.
Great family outing, kids love it! The new renovation is very nice, and highly recommend the pizza and macaroni. One of my favourite family outings, kids love the play place and the bit outside.
First visit back since the refurb. Pleasantly surprised and looks great.nFood was great as normal and the new Churro bar went down a treat with my kids. Been here countless times over the last countless years and it never really disappoints.nStaff friendly as ever food and value are great.nI have one gripe though. A new thing. An added gratuity to every bill. Not that I'm miserable when it comes to tipping. In fact the 8% gratuity cost the staff in tips today.nI much prefer to tip as I feel fit and not have it put on my bill without my prior knowledge. I also like to tip cash so putting it on my bill when I pay by card takes a slice of that tip out the staffs pockets. Clearly a management decision as I don't see this going down too well with most customers or the servers.
A bit disappointed. Nachos to start, but barely one spoonful of chilli mince, and very little cream sauce. The Cajun chicken pizza was nice, but again there was some serious skimping with the topping - the sauce base, cheese, and the chicken. The strawberry sundae on the other hand was excellent. Nice atmosphere and friendly service, but I won’t rush back.
