We didn't buy our new sofa here but we spent a couple of hours at the store last week. We had very stringent measurements to work from and wanted to look around without sales people. From the moment we arrived we were listened to. The manager had a warm and friendly manner and checked in with us a couple of times but no pressure. Later we had some questions and spent a while with Akash. What a lovely, genuine fella. No pressure, just solid help and info. Really appreciated the way we were handled from start to finish and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Just a shame we couldn't find exactly what we needed this time. Thank you.
Ordered sofas over 3 months ago, sofas arrived with the wrong piping and I was told they would be changed. I have rang on many occasions and spoke to the bradford store manager Andrew Johnson. Nothing done and complaint is not taken seriously. Waste of my time. Unprofessional company, Avoid

Terrible customer support service!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! I bought a brand new sofa last year, when it was delivered, a sofa part was faulty and I reported next day. DFS confirmed it was faulty and they would repair it in a month.. - I AM STILL WAITING it’s been over 8 months!! .. each time I call the customer service they tell me they will call me with an update in 72 hours which never happens. It’s just a nightmare company avoid it!!
Thoroughly impressed with my shopping experience at DFS. Akaash was great to deal with, there was no high pressure sales tactics just good advice and traditional customer service. As first time buyers this experience was special and he really made it one to remember. Can’t wait for our new sofas to arrive highly recommended!
I went on January to buy a new sofas, honestly since the beginning until the end of the sale my experience was great. The only thing I don't like it is, I don't know if because was on Sunday they were short staffed so I have to wait for around 45 minutes to get their attention plus another hour to close the sale in total was nearly 2 hours, plus another 9 weeks to get the sofa. However the quality worth the waiting, they have arrived in perfect, the colour and materials are just great, the delivery staff were very friendly, very helpful. I definitely recommend this place. Customer service 10-10. Great service
Absolute shambles, never will I purchase from DFS again, although the sales team in the Bradford store were lovely, and helpful, the rest of the dfs experience has been horrendous 4 different dates for delivery,.
Excellent customer Service. The sales Manager Bernie really nice guy. Explained everything. We had measurements & he planned it out to our needs.So happy & i would highly recommend Mr Bernie.Loved the coffee table marble with chrome legs unfortunately that was over our budget but we managed to get the suite set
I am very disappointed in DFS Bradford store. The store manager Andrew is so rude; no customer service skills at all. What you have to understand is when a customer goes to look around the sales team is all over you advising you the moon and stars to get the money aspect in writing. I initially went to look around and got convinced in a style that I did like and was promised it could be customised to what we like. We repeatedly said we needed very slim sofas as our room is pretty rectangular. Sales pitch was absolutely amazing and everything was booked in. After 13 months of waiting and listening to a billion excuses of why my order was delayed I received faulty sofas with half recliners not working AND the sofas are bulky that I can’t open my recliners. They are definitely not slim line or what we ordered. And to top it off the manager refused to listen and straight away said we have a no refund policy on these items!!! Why was this not made clear at the start? I have made all my monthly payments for the past 13 months without fail. In between I had to go to store to chase my order several times as no-one would call me back. That was additional cost as fuel isn’t cheap neither is time. I had to have my guests and family sit on the floor at many occasions and that is an embarrassment so clearly they will not be shopping at DFS for sure after my experience. The manager agreed to provide some sofas for temporary basis as they were clueless when my order would arrive. The first set delivered was returned right away as it looked like some sofas from the recycling tip with animal hair and stains on it. My experience just went worse each time. Anyone in my place would have been very frustrated but I was still polite and patient. Now I am left with sofas which are faulty they will be repaired BUT why am I having to keep a BRAND NEW item which has come faulty?? Would you go buy a fridge and find it faulty and be expected to keep it? No-one pays full price to buy faulty items and wrongly sold ones either. I should have gone and taken my money to a local sofa place. I was advised on slim sofas as they can be customised to be told 13 months that wasn’t the case so I was clearly stupid to pay for something I knew wouldn’t be right for my room??? it’s emotionally draining. Is this how customer service is like within DFS? Absolutely disgraceful. Would not recommend this branch to anyone.
