I was recommended this garage by my brother over 25 years ago. He had used them for many years and had always had reliable service so I gave them a try. 25 years on I cannot recommend this garage enough, Pat and David will do everything they can to help with your car problems even if it causes them great inconvenience. They are 100% trustworthy and honest and I have never had any issues with the standard of work. I would say they are one of those very rare businesses who actually care about their customer base. Nice people with ethics to match.

Just read the only other review on this site and I must say that this guy has got it all wrong. I have had my car and my wife's car serviced and repaired at this garage for the past twenty eight years and have been rewarded by excellent service all round. When our cars are serviced I know that the job has been done to the highest standards and I always say "you can feel the difference" after it has been serviced. When an unforeseen problem has been found, such as the brake pads replacement, a call is made to me to inform me that is the case and for me to authorise the expenditure for the replacements. You do not find many garages doing that or in fact considering the customer in that way. As for repairs on a number of occasions our cars have suffered damage from other vehicles and in every case no matter how difficult the job has been it has been completed with efficiency and to our complete satisfaction. This garage is one of the good ones and they are hard to find in this day and age when even the main dealers take massive short cuts - and I speak from experience. In relation to the gentlemen who seems to have a complaint, I would refer every other person to the Good Garage Scheme and see what others have said about the garage. I would also refer the gentleman to the Good Garage Scheme, if he has not already consulted them, as they will look into the matter for him but I feel will find that there is more to this than we are being told by him. In summary this is a good garage that gives excellent service and tell it as it is so you know exactly where you stand when you take your car for service or repair. Keep up the good work.

I was very disappointed with the standard of service. My car was misfiring very badly and lacked power. The owner of the garage David Reynolds - who has been is the business for 40 years - worked on the car himself for well in excess of two hours but failed to diagnose correctly the cause of the misfire. I was charged £179.16. Another garage correctly diagnosed the cause of the engine misfire and repaired my car at a very reasonable cost. I complained to Mr. Reynolds but he has failed to address my concerns. I therefore made a complaint to the Good Garage Scheme of which DF Reynolds Garage Service Ltd. is a member. To my astonishment the police came to my house to inform me Mr. Reynolds had made a complaint of "harassment" against me because I had complained to the Good Garage Scheme! The police officer stated at the outset that I had nothing to worry about as I had done nothing wrong. A complaint had been made so the police had to inform me. What a waste of police time.

Recently had my BMW X3 3.0SD serviced by them. The quality of their work is second to none. I will be using them for all services and MOT work in the future. Would definitely recommend them.
