A great place to enjoy some delicious Matcha and cakes. I enjoyed the Matcha Mille Crepes Cake.
This place has amazing ice cream and cakes! The service is great because the guy explained what the products were where they came from and helped us decide what to try. I'll definitely be coming back for more and I recommend them to anyone else who loves cafes.
Wow it’s great to come back to Dezato a year later to see what’s changed. The new bubble tea is unparralled and isn’t achingly sweet with a great offset of slightly bitter black or green tea. The cafe now has a brilliant, social set-up to chat with friends amongst the Japanese prints and relax despite the relatively small space. The only thing that could be better is if the discontinued matcha crepe cake could be brought back!!
The most amazing mouse, cheese cakes and tarts with a fantastic array of specialised tea. Such a lovely friendly owner, you have to give this place a try. How can you go wrong with tea and cake :-
Stumbled upon this place while nosing around my old hood. What a gem! Super sweet and friendly service she let me have jelly instead of boba, thank you!, and really delicious tea. I had assam milk tea with lychee jelly and it was easily as good as I've had in Taiwan or HK. It also looked like they do egg waffle as well, although I didn't try. I got takeout but would also be a nice sunny spot to people-watch as is right on a corner on buzzy Blackstock Road. What a great addition to the neighbourhood! Thank you Dezato.
After seeing these all 5 star reviews, I decided to come and have a look, after waiting for 10 minutes after opening hour for the cafe to open, I decided to visit another cafe. While I was going back home 40 minutes after the opening hour, they were still closed. It might sound very harsh to give 1 star because of this, but we'll, as a customer I wonder, if they are lying about their opening hours, what else do they lie about?
We've come here a few times to pick up some treats on the way back from work. Always excellent, friendly owner. Lots of matcha-based stuff of which I'm always a fan
